Bought my DELL XPS computer in 2020 but Dell refused to fix it because they said that it was refurbished and though it was only 203 days old they would not honor the manufactures warranty. If you buy a dell make sure you buy it directly!!!!
I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 a little over a year ago. About two weeks ago, I noticed that there was a cracking sound as I opened the laptop. That sound was caused by two fasteners that became disengaged from the monitor side panel. What a piece of junk. I contacted their "customer service" and since I did not have a warranty, I could not be helped. My advice is do not waste your money on such a shoddy laptop. You will regret it!
On December 11 I placed an order for Christmas present for my son and the inside sales rep K Miller Told me that my order would arrive by December 23 because I was placing it at that time and I was still within range of getting it delivered before Christmas. All week I’ve tried to contact her via email and she is not responded. Today I receive notice that my order would not arrive until December 27.I could’ve made the purchase at a local store. The Inside sales rep and I discussed that and she assured me there would not be an issue. Don’t trust Dell’s inside sales reps.But anywhere else!! Very disappointed.
What a disgrace of a service. Their customer service is appalling, probably the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. Dell subcontracts call centers who knows where in French Magreb and the result is a group of nasty, illiterate disrespecting inbreds answering your calls for what is a disaster of a purchase process on their poor excuse for a site.So basically you spend a large sum of money, cannot contact anyone in France to help you when it goes wrong and the only people you can contact are the imbeciles Dell entrusts its clients to, who disrespect you, hang up on you and mock you over the phone.NEVER buy here. NEVER. Stay as far away as possible. Dell France is the plague and you will regret any interaction you have with them.

LAPTOP!!!!They refuse to help you with the constant, bs problems with your brand new, expensive laptop!They want $100 just to talk to you!I have a $600 new laptop and every time I call, they don't even listen to my problem!All they want is $100 and they will SUPPOSEDLY call me back!Tried that once & they never called me back! It took me two weeks, dozens of phone calls, speaking to dozens of people, to finally get my money back!All they want is your money! They want you to purchase an extended warranty, which is a useless waste of money, because my original warranty was useless! No one ever helped me before when I actually had a warranty.Basically, no one from Dell has ever bothered to help me with or without a warranty, so the only lesson I have learned from this is not to deal with greeeeeeeedy Dell!Done with Dell & their crappy, expensive, useless laptops with absolutely zero support!Will throw this $600 pos in the garbage! By far, the worst laptop Iever owned!Just sincerely regret ever having purchased anything from this evil, greedy, corrupt company!
Ordered software on a Friday and was told the “keys” would be shipped in 24 hours. By Sunday nothing received. Call and was told they couldn’t see “anything” about the order including not being able to cancel. Told to call back during M-F business hours (not open on the weekend). Sent a message to cancel the order. Bought from Best Buy in Sunday.Started calling on Monday to cancel. Got giant run around - “keys” still not sent. Called on Tuesday and was hung up on by 5 different people. All were heavily accented - one even acknowledged that and told me to ask her to repeat anything I didn’t understand.Finally called AmEx and disputed charge.All this after spending over $1,000 on a new computer. It will be the last Dell I ever purchase!
I will never again purchase a Dell product. The customer support and technical support is the absolute worst I’ve ever encountered.They would not accept a return (25 days) and every effort to contact someone who would authorize a return met with form emails.
DO NOT BUY DELL PRODUCTS!!!! Worst experience I have had with a company ever. I purchased a dell laptop in July 2020, and in October 2020, the backspace key stopped working. I filed a service request and a technician came out to fix the issue on the 23rd of October. In the process, the incompetent technician broke the power key, thus making it impossible for me to turn the laptop on. He submitted a request for a replacement key and motherboard just in case. Said he would be back to install it in a week. I am a college student and we are in a pandemic where I must use my laptop for all of my work, but I could make it enough for one week. However, one week turned into three weeks, and the parts had supposedly not arrived to fix my laptop. I called dell several times and they kept saying the parts would come in soon, but here we are at the end of December (TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER) and these incompetent fools still have not fixed my laptop. Instead, they closed the case on my laptop today without any communication with me! What a brilliant way to resolve the issue! I have called dell tech support three times today and everyone I have spoken to has been absolutely useless. I don’t want to go into any more detail because it is too painful but in conclusion, but dell tech support is so immeasurably bad. Please safe yourself from a lifetime of pain and get a macbook or something.
Dell customer service is easily the worst ive ever experienced. they use customer service agents who can barely speak english, so its hard to understand what they're saying to me. they also have super long wait times that can last over an hour. who wants to be on the phone waiting for support for that long?? i also bought a $4,000 laptop from them and the webcam doesnt even work. i have to get it serviced during this god awful pandemic. i hope dell gets bought out by a much superior company. do yourself a favor and buy from a competitor with PROVEN customer service.
