DO NOT BUY DELL PRODUCTS!!!! Worst experience I have had with a company ever. I purchased a dell laptop in July 2020, and in October 2020, the backspace key stopped working. I filed a service request and a technician came out to fix the issue on the 23rd of October. In the process, the incompetent technician broke the power key, thus making it impossible for me to turn the laptop on. He submitted a request for a replacement key and motherboard just in case. Said he would be back to install it in a week. I am a college student and we are in a pandemic where I must use my laptop for all of my work, but I could make it enough for one week. However, one week turned into three weeks, and the parts had supposedly not arrived to fix my laptop. I called dell several times and they kept saying the parts would come in soon, but here we are at the end of December (TWO AND A HALF MONTHS LATER) and these incompetent fools still have not fixed my laptop. Instead, they closed the case on my laptop today without any communication with me! What a brilliant way to resolve the issue! I have called dell tech support three times today and everyone I have spoken to has been absolutely useless. I don’t want to go into any more detail because it is too painful but in conclusion, but dell tech support is so immeasurably bad. Please safe yourself from a lifetime of pain and get a macbook or something.
