Review Time
I wish I could give a half star for Dell's customer and tech support. They keep telling me they will call to schedule a time to fix my screen and no one calls. I've always had an HP and this is my first and last Dell. I'm so disappointed and just want my screen fixed. It's cracked and my finger does not work either.
I am simply trying to get a refund on a item and I have contacted multiple people. I literally went on the order option and contact support. The website asked for what help was needed and I said needed a refund. I have contacted through live chat and email and every time the person says they can't help me and just sends a link to technical support. Dell come on. Why would you include technical support for a refund if every person I attempt to chat with or email to just says that cannot help me? Just include the link to technical support who can actually resolve the problem.I also believe it might be the factor the employees just don't want to take the time to help me as after 5 different chat sessions I finally found a employee who didn't just redirect me to technical support and took time to get the refund processed and requested. I shouldn't have to go through so many chat sessions to find an employee who is willing to help me rather than just say they can't and redirect me.
Dell representative on Twitter - Riya didn't understand the issue and tried to get rid of me. I contacted them second time hoping different person to pick up it was Riya again but this time she tried to hide her identity and to get rid of me again I asked two times for the name and only then I realized it was Riya again. Very dishonest behavior from Dell. Posted in the forums after a tussle there I was sent to bother a local repair shop. I cant share ticket number because Dell Support don't have support tickets :D but I can share the forums topic: "S3220DGF, not running 120Hz? #19"
Placed an order over 6 weeks ago, online tracking shows 6 different conflicting dates about shipping/delivery most of which have passed and it still hasn't arrived. Customer service have no idea when it will ship and then close the ticket as if they did a good job and answered my questions. "As of now we cannot see the estimated delivery date due to some issues. As there is no follow up required, i would consider the issue to be resolved and close the case."This was a big order and I have spent thousands more in the past. But I will be looking elsewhere in future.
Can I give them negative stars? I ordered a $1500+ gaming monitor on black Friday for $905.54. It's now December 14 and the order has been delayed again. Estimated shipping date is now December 27th more than a month after I made the purchase. Dell claims to be out of stock, yet they still have the item available on their website for purchase at full retail price. Amazon has hundreds of them in stock, ready to ship. But, not at the $905.54 I paid. The best price I can get now would be $1100+ Tax.I can't help but think Dell is intentionally delaying the order hoping I'll cancel it because of the huge discount I received. What ever is going it's ridiculous. I tried calling their customer support to find out what is going on, waited 33 minutes to talk to someone only to be told it will ship by December 16th. Really?I won't purchase from them again.
Insanely horrible customer service.I ordered a laptop Nov 24 its now Dec 14 and still haven't got it. No updates on the progress...they just leave you in the dark. They wouldn't cancel the order when my order says still in production. I was just offered a $35 credit for all my trouble and wait. Something is very wrong with how they do business. Just go to best buy or something...could have had one the same day. Never Never buy from dell you'll be sorry.
In the last year and a month I have purchased 2 Alienware pcs. One for my son in 2019 for Christmas and one this passed summer for myself. The computers are running great, I received both in the time they promised, both booted up perfectly fine. We play Rainbow Six, and occasionally COD2 multiplayer together. My son plays a lot of other games and uses his pc for school. He's studying graphic design.My 3 stars are for support. I purchased software that did not come installed. It was not in the "Alien Software Locker" which is where software would be to download. Support had no easy solution so it took weeks before I received links to download software. After months of use of software the "update" changes the software to one that requires a subscription. I would like to think that I should have the software I purchased and given an option for the update in addition to what I purchased. BUT the software is now locked as trial period. And the software I purchased is no longer accessible. Of course Dell can't do anything. When we call Dell or text chat with them it ends with nothing good.
Bought a computer online and said it would be delivered in 2 weeks. 3 weeks, no computer. They said it is being "BUILT". I wanted my money back but they:said too late, your computer is being built." They have no idea when the computer will be built. DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE.
