Signed up to LastPass 2 days ago and it was a huge mistake. I can't even contact support even though it is a business account as I encounter the error 'portal account owner must have a role'. I have find no information anywhere on their website, their forums, google, chat gpt to change this. When trying to add me as a user I can't because I would have to buy a new license. Why would the account owner not have an admin role by default? How is that even a possibility? This is without a doubt the worst tool I have ever encountered. There is no way of contacting support if there is an error like this. The bot is useless and has 4 scripted responses. I really hope you do yourself a favour do not use Last Pass.
Was a LastPass user for many years, happy with the product. Got locked out of my account May 2024 due to the LastPass Authenticator seeming to lock in a “loop” of denial. Multiple emails to LP support, interspersed with long waits. Bottom line I could not regain access to my account or my data. Told them to cancel my account and I moved on (painfully) to another product. December 2024 LP charge my credit card for renewal. Still dragging their feet on a refund. LP support is awful, cannot talk to a live person, just bots on the other end of an email who have no ability to think or go outside their limited script. I do not recommend this company. I have discovered (not by choice) there are many better products out there.
Like others have said, I used to use this but cant, because customer service is just bots. Cant get a human to help. Cant log in to get help, no response from a ticket. This will cost me dearly as some of my info is only on here. Had been great, but this is a critical and fatal flaw for this type of service. What happened to them?
I've been with last pass for many years, almost since the start, I used to subscribe. I don't subscribe anymore because I literally couldn't re-subscribe, their subscription service didn't work, customer service couldn't help. The last straw is that recently its so buggy, the extension crashes on my browser and I cant access my passwords. Now since two days there's a popup that literally blocks my access, it tells me to encrypt my URLS, except the popup progress never moves past 0. I'm completely blocked from accessing all my passwords. I will migrate all away from this service. By the way i tried to contact customer support but it seems there's no way to do this from their website now.
WE have been going back and forth with this company now for 6 weeks, and receive no help, no support, they will not take responsibility for their failure and the only time it seems they can send a timely email is when they are chasing payment. Please do not use this company, I wish we hadn't. We will certainly be taking our business elsewhere and quite honestly they probably won't care.
I've been a customer for a couple of years and on the whole it's been ok. I have an issue and have come on her to let everyone know just how rubbish their support now appears to be. I have just discovered that many others are now leaving one star reviews for the same reason. It is unacceptable for a security service company to provides poor support. Therefore, this company could be on the way out. I'm looking to move to another password provider as soon as I have time to research and migrate.
Awful support for premium users. It’s been almost a month and none of my issues have been resolved - I can no longer save passwords from my browser AND when I manually save they don’t appear I have to restart the app AND it takes their support 5 days to respond to a single email AND that’s after I’ve written a follow up to ask why there’s still no response. I am switching after my current renewal period is up.
I haven’t been able to login to LastPass for months or revert my master password to a previous password. Yesterday I reset my account, deleting all of my passwords, and giving myself a brand new master password. I tried to login to my freshly reset account and it still won’t let me login!As all my passwords have been deleted anyway I’ve decided to give up on LastPass. Periodically for a number of months I’ve tried to login to the service, with my actual master password, and been unable to do so. Whenever I tried to recover my master password I’d just receive a message saying it couldn’t be done with no explanation as to why this was the case.I finally decided to try and get some support and the user experience of doing so is awful. Continuous links to other support pages, none of which actually help, and me repeatedly entering my email address. Was also asked the date/month I created the account and how many passwords I had stored - how would I possibly know the number of passwords I have stored.I also don’t appreciate that once I received an email from a member of the support team that the first solution to try and login to my account is just using every password it could possibly be - like I wouldn’t have already tried this.Overall experience with LastPass has been terrible.
This companies lack of support, and lack of sound support routines is making me ask the question:Why is it not allowed to give 0 stars on Trustpilot? I can honestly say, that if LastPass is the very last provider on earth, and you still need a provider, you should still probably think twice...
