Works, but is clunky and gets hacked a lot.

This was a good password manager, but there have been too many major data breaches, and it is too clunky. I've since moved to 1Password, and it is much better.

I cannot delete my account.

I cannot delete my account.I answered already 4 times to the Lastpass case #02847588 on their request to answer, and I’m still getting a response that I didn’t answer.On Trustpilot Lastpass is quoted with a ridiculous 1.3 stars of 5, and that’s even much too high.I know why the bunch of morons and crooks is not doing anything. Lastpass wants to keep up the number of clients for commercial purposes. So I’m pretty sure that I will never be able to delete my account. Bad, bad, bad, ... 100 with the logaritmic exponent 10. (That's a a huge number).

What a complete sham this company is

What a complete sham this company is. i removed what I thoughyt was where my subscription card was only to find I had been charged for another year no way of contacting anyone other than tech support. Just another company trying to cash in on missed subscriptions. If they're not doing this then be refund for people who aren't using this service anymore. Steer clear nightmare. Get some customer service.

Not worth the hassle - if you have it make sure you do all the extra steps reqd to be able to access

I have a paid premium subscription and had converted essentially all my passwords to the Lastpass app. I use Face ID to log in. One day suddenly my Face ID log in no longer works even though it is still enabled on my phone. I try to reset my password because over a year later I don't actually remember what it was. The app tells me my account is not enabled for this reset. I try to contact customer service but you have to be logged in to contact them - the issue is I can't log in. After reviewing a ton of information on their full website which is not provided when you onlyuse the app, turns out you (1) have to do a bunch of extra steps to make sure you can re-access your account if you get locked out and don't remember your password (unlike every other financial app, they won't just send you a link to reset your password), and (2) if you haven't set these up in advance you are SOL and have to reset your account and will LOSE EVERYTHING. They cannot answer why (a) my face id stopped working, or (b) why if they can verify my paid account, they don't have a way to help me reset my password. The CS person just repeats the same information over and over and sends unhelpful links. You are better off finding another solution I am only sorry I paid the subscription fee for this.

Unbelievably poor support.

Unbelievable! I can't log in because their system is not sending out a confirmation email. I try to get help but am stymied at every turn because - and I quote - 'Live chat with an agent is a feature of paid accounts. Since you're not logged in, I can't tell what kind of account you have.'They can't claim that it's a problem on my end because I use an icloud email account. I was going to switch back to them for my main password manager, but I've decided to keep my sanity instead.

Extremely user unfriendly

They make it impossible to easily see how many licenses you have and can't reduce users without contacting support.

Stay away

Removing all your sensitive data after inactive period of 2 years is pure evil and it should be illegal. They send e-mail notification 3 days before, if you don't login on time, all your data is gone with no possibility to recover.

Multiple, serial failures and lack of effective support.

For the first few years I used it,Lastpass worked very well. I started with a free account, and upgraded to a paid account. Then, Last year, my master password stopped working, and dispite months of working to restore it, including multiple texts with their support organization, none of the suggestoins that they provided were successful in restoring the system, During this time, my membership subscription wss automatically renewed, and dispite not being able to log in, I was unable to delete the account. As of now, the account is up for renewal again next month, yet I have not been able to use it for over 13 month. I tried to use a delete process on their website, today, and that process also failed. I spoke to my credit card company about blocking their upcoming charge, and found that I cannot block it in advance, but I can dispute it once it appears on my account. The lack of telephone support and multiple, repeated email support failures make the system unusable.

Lastpass is an absolute joke- stay away

Lastpass is an absolute joke - stay away. Ive been locked out of my account twice, for no reason (correct email, correct password). the first time, after going round in circles for ages with loads of bugs and glitches (literally hours) i finally got in. This time - after wasting nerly a whole day sweating and stressing and trying to get back in, Ive given up. Now im trying to delete my account, and it wont even let me do that (another glitch). So ive just cancelled the payment set up to them to do it that way. All data lost. Its really really really rubbish - stay clear.
