Review Time
I have been a user of LastPass for nearly 5 years. In 2024 the service has become WORTHLESS!!! Many times, I cannot log-in using my MASTER PASS Strong word I've used since inception. There is "NO", ZERO Customer Service; it's just horrific!!! It is impossible to talk or chat with a real person when you can't log into your account. Do not purchase.
I've been using the service for years, it's always been awful in terms of usability, and after years, it still is. The service is stable and reliable in terms of technology, but the US is a pain in the neck. - Overall mediocre usability.- In the age of AI, their browser add-ins still fail to recognise the difference between physical address and email address in a form, if it's written in German. It's often totally useless and almost never fills a form appropriately.- Takes hours to update and pass on the information from one browser to the other one.- Keeps asking me to save entered info as if it was a login form, even if it's information that is already saved like my address, or something irrelevant like a contact us form. It's dumb and does not understand the context of what I am doing.
The account kept on making me reauth EVERYTIME I signed in, I informed lastpass so many times with comments and nothing done. Now been charge for another year, no heads up of renewal either. Crazy when we want to access our passwords on the go and have to reauth EVERYTIME...terrible service including the fact noone ever got back to my feed backs.

I've been using Lastpass for a long time. With every website expecting stupidly long passwords Its pretty much compulsory to use a password manager these days.Lastpass has two big problems though.1. There is no support for free users. They have a user forum which users post issues but no one ever replies, not even other users.2. Lots of big websites seem to be incompatible with Lastpass. Trustpilot.com is an example. If you use chrome with the lastpass extension, you cant login with email at trustpilot.com because after entering your email address the password field briefly appears and then is gone. They only way to login is to use incognito mode or disable the lastpass extension. Trustpilot are not alone in this, fidelity.co.uk suffers the same problem.Despite being perhaps the most used password manager no one seems to test their website for compatibility and its anyone's guess if Lastpass even recognise this problem.
DO NOT USE. If you have password/access issues, they block you from contacting support. It says 'customer support is for paying customers', but you must be logged in for them to tell if you are a paying customer. So you're stuck, paying them & getting no support because you can't login & you're sent round and round in circles without any human help. The whole point for customer support is when you can't login in. It's a totally retarded customer service setup that leaves you high and dry in times of desperate need. If you use them, you will inevitably be left pulling your hair out with endless stress & wasted hours/days! Avoid at all costs!!
You want to talk about difficult to use? Talk about LastPass. I have had it installed and have used it for several years but, over time, it has become more and more difficult to use. Today I had enough and I transferred my passwords to NordPass, stopped LastPass auto renewal and reset LastPass to wipe out everything.
