Review Time
I recently ordered 3 pairs of shoes I wanted to decide among for a wedding I am attending.The first pair arrived when I was not home, no email to say delivered and I was fortunate a family member was home to take in the house, an email was received the next day that it was just delivered. The 2nd pair came a day later and when I opened the box it was smashed and had no cover. I took a picture of it and then examined it. It seemed to be water damage and I smelled the shoes. One was fine, the other had an awful stench I almost vomited. MOLD. Very upset, it was sent to me like this, not damaged in shipment, the bag was sealed. Waited for the 3rd pair which said would be received May 3rd but did not arrive. Called DSW on May 4th and was told I would have by the 5th. Was offered a refund for moldy shoes or can look if available for replacement. I explained I needed it by Tues May 7th and a team member said available but would not be able to send unless regular delivery. Offered me a $10 refund on order and applied. Today as I write this on Sunday May 5th I looked up the order and said it would arrive tomorrow. I am very disgusted with DSW for many reasons. How can they send a customer mold shoes, what if I was allergic. Luckily my other half did not touch them because he is allergic to mold. I should have been accommodated with the pair sent to me overnight for my troubles. I was also not told the truth about when I would receive my 3rd pair.I have been a loyal customer to DSW but after recent experiences that may change and I certainly will tell my friends and show them the picture of the damaged shoes I received.
Ordering online, forget about it. I’ve been trying to get my money back after I exchanged and then sent back a pair of shoes. First call to customer service, gave the gentleman the tracking number and he said yes I see that they are here. Was then told I would get an email showing the refund within 24 hours, well that never came. Called back the next day, spoke to a woman who said she saw that it was returned and would send me an email stating my refund. Instead an email came that said: In regards to O#8232423685 we can see that you have made an exchange. I understand that you have returned the item back at the store however the store haven't changed the status yet. Once the store updates the exchange you will be rfunded for the same.So which is it? The exchanged item has been returned. The agent stated they were received? What is the hold up on returning my money.Never will I order from this company again.
I am disappointed that such a large company as dsw does not have any shoes for people who are tall and need larger shoe sizes. My husband and I can never buy shoes in a larger size. Women also need size 12 or 13 shoes. My husband is a size 14 and never wears anything in dsw either.
Absolutely shocking business,I placed my order they took the Cash £51 .00 then told me there was no record of the purchase, believe me I will pursue this matter 100% I've been in touch with my bank and contacted trading standards, don't touch this company I implore you.......
Ordered shoes that were in stock in Kalamazoo (about 55 min away from me) that was two weeks ago and they still haven't shipped. Ever day they update to a new expected delivery date and day awaiting carrier pickup. One of the worst companies maybe in history?
Got a $30 off coupon in mail so I bought a pair of Skechers that were $69. Even thou coupon was applied and gave me the correct total, it charged me full price after completion. Customer service only refunded $30 had to email several times and they still never credited correct amount with tax. After receiving shoes in box with no lid I called and Rep said shed give me an additional $10 refund and send a replacement. Gave me label to ship back. After a week not receiving $10 credit I emailed and they said they would give me a $10 reward today. That is not what I said I was told and even included the Ref#. I will be returning the shoes. The replacement shoes came in a small makeshift box with Orig box info taped to it.
Horrible deals that will waste your time at checkout they make all kinds of excuses to not accept the offer they provided me to save on shoes. I had a vip discount card I looked it over several times to be sure that I wasn't missing anything and every shoe I went to checkout with the card was not acceptable I decided to chat with them and they stated all the shoes I chose are not a promotional item when the card clearly states 30 dollars off all brands over 49 dollars or more don't waste your time at dsw
DSW has been "processing" my order for almost a month. I emailed to ask what was happening, and I got a response: "So you would like to cancel." I said nothing about canceling my order. I want the shoes I have ordered. You are a shoe company; why is it so hard to do what you advertise? Honestly, if it is this complicated to get shoes, I will order them from another company. Saving a few dollars is not worth the headache. Clearly, by many of these reviews, DSW has become a terrible company to order from online. The customer service is a complete JOKE; you call, and they need help understanding what you are asking, and I need help understanding them. Save yourself the headache, spend the extra money, and get shoes from a trustworthy company.
