Review Time
Surprised by the poor reviews of DSW. I've ordered lots of shoes/boots online from them over the years, without a hitch. Great selection, fun sales and prices, and ability to quickly accrue useable points. Zero problems getting a refund. In fact, I returned 2 pairs this month (first time I've had to do that, and I chose to visit a local DSW store, for the first time). Both times, cashiers were friendly, handled my return fast, and refunds hit my account quickly. I realize folks will have their own unique experiences. In my case, I have no complaints and I love DSW!
I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online they had different delivery dates which was fine. When I received the 2nd delivery it only had 1 shoe in the box whoever was in charge of packing the shoes never looked in the box just looked at the style and size label on the box. This is careless behavior I returned to Marlton NJ location where they were empathetic and replaced my order. Please emphasize to your staff to look inside the boxes before mailing
Returned an online order to my local Poughkeepsie store, was told 7 to 10 before I would see a credit. Well, it is 7 months later and they just say it was processed on their end. My bank has not received anything. I just am getting the runaround. $155.31 no credit and 7 months later still fighting g
Will not refund my money to my original form of payment after I returned a pair of shoes. They owe me $60 and I don't think I will ever see it. I have emailed multiple times, and called customer service twice and have had no help at all. I cannot understand the person on the other end (heavy accent) and it was difficult to communicate my request with them. I will never give them my business again. Bad company to deal with.
I ordered shoes for pickup on 4/15/24. After 10 days I called customer service they said the shoes were lost they ordered them again. I called after a couple of days because I never received any email so they said it would be ready on 5/6. I live in Glendale so my store for pickup was there but they sent my shoes to Downey which was so far from me. I called again I canceled the order on 5/7. today is May 14th I haven't received my refund yet I just checked my bank account I saw they charged me a different amount yesterday! they are stealing money from my bank account. it was my first and last time doing business with them.
I ordered shoes on 4/21/24, the money was taken from my account the next day.Tonight it is 5/7/24 and the tracking information online states that the shoes have yet to be picked up by the shipping company.I called customer service (CS) this evening to determine where the shoes might be located and what is preventing their shipment. The CS rep stated that the shoes were in a warehouse in Westhampton, NJ, which is approximately 15-20 from where I live. I asked why they had not been shipped and the CS went into this story, most of which I lost through the heavy Asian accent, but nevertheless, I sensed something was not right. Why would a pair of shoes not be shipped the 20 miles to fulfill the order, if indeed, the shoes were actually at the location the CS stated.I canceled the order and will no longer purchase items from this company online.
