ALL of my experiences as Ocala, FL DSW are great! Their customer service is the best of any store that I shop. I returned a pair of shoes today that I purchased in November, 2023. It was out of the return window, but the manager worked with me so I could return the shoes.
Such a bad experience in every online order, I used to order frequently but stopped for a while.When I decided to come back and made an order for 3 shoes at once1- on the first one and after 5 days and while checking the status, it say order canceled , and the shoes is no longer available and while they applied the 10$ coupon on that shoes I lost the coupon2- second shoes and after 5 days it still says we received your order and working on it though it says 4-5 working days3- the 3rd shoes and while ordered on the 7th of July and it says 4-5 business days , now it says arriving 16 jul !!!!!!NO MORE DSW FOR ME EVEN FOR FREESUCH A BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered shoes fair and square. The shoes were $35, a great deal. usually they aren $50+.A day later dsw unilaterally cancels my order while admitting that their internal efforts failure caused the cancellation. They gave me a 20% discount to appease a defrauded dsw customer. 20 % discount is offered sll over their website and accross the web. They reneg on a legit purchase then add insult to injury. Dsw admits they screwed up, why am i suffering from their mistake.
After over two months of going back and forth with DSW support, I finally gave up. We are Canadians, and we purchased our daughter's shoes in the LA store during our vacations in CA. Those white shoes started to discolor with the bright orange stains (probably from the inside material) and are basically ruined and useless. The only solution from DSW support was to recommend that we go to the store in LA (4000 km) and talk to the manager.
I will never shop in store or online with DSW again. After today I'm done. Ordered online to pick up in store. Store cancelled my order. they sent me 20% off coupon for my inconvenience. Ordered online but one shoe was too big so I took it back to store. I had them order a replacement and mail to the store since I didn't want the display shoe in my size. Went today and whoever sent my replacement shoe sent a totally different shoe. The manager (a rock would have at least said I'm sorry blah blah. She said nothing.) She seemed annoyed at me and the entire situation bu maybe that's her personality? Sorry but this is not my fault. The other employee at least apologized! The "manager" got a box of shoes and I asked her if that was the display she said no but when she opened the box she said oh well it wasn't the display when I got it. I left to try it on and looked at the bottom, it was dirty! I just asked for my money back. If the customer service sucks, you won't get any more of my money. OKC, OK
DO NOT trust this company. They sent me a pair of shoes that looked used and were very damaged. The inside of the box had some kind of powder inside that I didn’t feel comfortable touching. I have no idea what it was. They then claimed they sent me a replacement (I never asked for one!) and gave me zero assistance other than to keep wasting my time and being insanely incompetent. They are the worst company I’ve ever dealt with for customer service. Avoid at all costs. Order elsewhere.
The shoes I ordered came quickly. They didn’t fit so I returned them to a store. The staff were very nice. DSW has changed its routine under the guise of being green. When really it’s just being cheap. They don’t print out a hard copy return receipt anymore. When I asked for one, they had to print it out in the back room, have someone retrieve it and bring it upfront. Turns out it wasn’t a return receipt. It was just a copy of the original purchase receipt. When it came to buying more shoes, they don’t supply any type of bag other than ones you can purchase. They carry in store very limited stock of sizes and the coupons are not good on too many brands. I give it two stars because the workers are very nice, however, DSW procedures are very negative. I also found the same shoes cheaper at other stores even though they were on sale at DSW.
My order was not picked up at the warehouse . It took 8 requests from myself that DSW canceled my order and give my money back. Took Over 3 weeks to get my money back and my request to speak to a supervisor has been refused. I will NEVER shop your store again. WORST customer service ever!!!!
