I love DSW!!! I recently purchased the koolaburra boot for my daughter. And she absolutely loves them! They didn't have them in the store, so the sales associate ordered them online for me right there. As promised, I received them in 4 days. Always great customer service!!!!!
I have ordered online quite a few times and I am always happy with the product. On the few occasions I have had to return, it's been seamless because I return at the store. Never had any issues with this company and customer service is always courteous.
Was placing my order for my daughters items for the first day of school. Decided to do in store pick up since they had been advertising quite a bit. Little did I know that they treat those orders as if you placed them on hold. They will send you emails to say pick up ready with the date in which you need to pick it up by and the next things you know in a day or two send you a oops we no longer have your item! I have never experienced anything like this! I purchased the items online assuming they were mine, never thinking if I don't get there as soon as they send me that email they will sell my order off. I highly recommend to everyone to NEVER use this as you will not get your things. Now my HS daughter will not have your shoes and other items to start the first day of school off right. DSW, I have no idea what you were thinking but this is not how you keep a customer!
This company lied and stole my money. I purchased a pair of shoes in store for home delivery and the girl who placed my order entered in the wrong address. My shoes were lost for weeks. I called DSW customer service and was told by a manager that I would be shipped a new pair of shoes and that I would also receive my money back for the inconvenience. Now all of a sudden a few weeks later no refund has been issued and I was told by Brandon that it's nothing they can do. I am so upset with this company for lying to me about everything. I will never shop with them again and will make sure I tell my experience every chance I get.
I went into the Pearland, Tx store last weekend. I found two pairs of shoes that I wanted to purchase. The line was EXTREMELY long and I saw customers leaving the line without shoes that they were in line to purchase. I heard mumbling and saw disappointment on several customers faces so I knew something was definitely going on. After ten minutes I FINALLY get to the cash register. When the cashier ran my credit card the machine timed out. After two attempts she finally told me that the chip reader wasn't working and hadn't been working for most of the day. I was furious! I asked the cashier why did they let me stand in line knowing the machine was not working? I yelled why didn't you all make an announcement that we you were only able to process cash purchases or purchases with debit cards without chips? I stood in line for absolutely nothing! I had to leave the store and go get cash to purchase the shoes. When I returned I had to again stand in an equally long line of customers who were each saying they had all stood in line and been told the same thing..........why the hell would I have to stand in line again is beyond me! This whole process ruined my errands. I had two more stores to go to but had to return home without going to either of them due to this ordeal!
