Review Time
I placed a order on 11/28/2023 today is 12/112023 and still haven't got my order poor bedside manners horrible customer service I call tge customer service number and still didn't get the issue resolved there all speaking broken loud background poor reception just didn't get anything accomplished I ended the call I will never ever do business here again! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!
Worst service experience, I simply needed to exchange shoes. The lady at the Dunwoody store tonight was unpleasant, abrasive and unprofessional. If I hadn't felt sorry for her, I'd have lost my composure. It was apparent she didn't want to be there and I get it, we've all had jobs that made us feel that way. That said, as she's a representative for the company, I'll never shop at DSW again.
I gotta start by saying the positive: having emailed DSW regarding a defective product I purchased from them online, they got back to me extremely quick! Sometimes even just a few hours later! Bravo to them on their fantastic promptness! But be warned - each response was from a different representative (at least 6 or 7 in my case), which meant each response was completely different. Their initial response was most helpful, but after that, every response to follow had a different answer, and in the end, their answers went from "Yes, we'd be happy to help you" to "We can't help you at all." It was beyond ridiculous. Almost comical, in fact. I eventually gave up - too much unnecessary stress and a complete waste of my time. Should you need to contact DSW customer service, you might be better off doing so over the phone or in person.
Never received my order! Didn't get an email explaining the reason why either. I mean there was one indicating a delay.Then two weeks later nothing. No emails, no updates on my order status.So I called customer service and they were very rude.Offer no refund or even an explanation of what had happened. I paid for these slippers that never came,and then customer service did nothing but make things worse!! I love DSW for their awesome shoes but it's not worth all the hassle and loss of money.I wish DSW valued their customers. First time having an issue. So still don't understand why.
So many things have gone wrong that I wouldn't have enough space to name them. Just read the 300 plus that have already been written. Personally, I think they have some quality shoes and great buys, but their customer services are so poor that even a rating of a 1 is too good for them. I hope their future consist of class action lawsuits and reimbursements to customers create a need for them to clean up their business practices. They are the worst on line website I have ever used. Seriously problematic.
I have been a customer for years and have made many shoe purchases from this store. But buyer BEWARE! Do not get or ask for a GIFT CERTIFICATE here. On MULTIPLE occasions, the gift certificate has been purchased but they actually NEVER send the gift card to the recipient. Maybe in hopes that no one ever knows it was purchased and they keep the money...who knows. Either way it has happened to me multiple times. Then, I have to spend 30-45 min on the phone trying to get them to re-send or find the gift certificate. This should NOT happen! No one should have to fish for their gift every time.
I ordered a pair of Boggs work boots 11/7/2023. On 11/17/2023 I called customer service because my boots are still in processing. To which the operator told me that my boots have just been shipped. After she initially asked me how my package was as if I received it. She told me I should expect my boots in another week. A month... I'll never order from these bums a day in my life if this is how they operate.
I placed an order. Three minutes later, I was in a customer service chat trying to do one simple thing: change my address from being all on one line to putting the apartment on a second line. Reason being, the address will cut off and packages will not be deliverable.Three minutes later, I'm in a chat with Terry, who tells me my order is too far along in the process to be changed. I had just placed the order minutes ago.Terry said that the order could only be canceled. Okay, fine, I've worked a lot of retail. I get it. Cancel it and I'll reorder.He couldn't find my payment from PayPal. Because I was trying to have him cancel it SO FAST THAT DSW DIDN'T EVEN SEE A PURCHASE YET. And it was too far in the process to edit?! Really?! I've never heard this in all my years of working retail and purchasing online. Not ONCE has this ever been an issue.All to say, make sure your address is right. Terry did whatever, he seemed disinterested but his job sucks so I don't blame him. I do blame DSW for having a system in place that THREE MINUTES is too far into the process to put an apartment number on a separate line.Utterly disappointed and not pleased.
