Review Time
When I received an email to leave a review after buying the shoes, I realized that it does not allow me to leave a bad review. Apparently, it only accepts good reviews. I came here to say that the quality of their shoes is not good at all and it tears and the glue comes off after one or two months.
Bought a pair of heels and I wore once. The heels hurt my feet and I got blisters, so I decided to return it. Nope, you can’t unless you don’t wear the item at all. I mean.. I get it, but how am I going to truly know if the shoes are comfortable or not if I don’t put it to test? Completely bullshit policy. Won’t buy from them ever again.
I ordered boots for an elderly relative who really needed them asap, to a great surprise DSW sent shoes not boots...to fix the issue, they were just trying to send me a label to return them, I even had to print my own label!They waited UNTIL the return is scanned and only after sent me a replacement, it was supposed to be 2 days expedited per their own email, but nope, they conveniently did not bother to expedite it and now it will take over a week to ship from West coast to East - I am just pissed at their level of service
The manager at the Shreveport la location was very rude on the phone after someone used my debit card for credit over $100.00 without an ID and Why it was stolen know who suffer the consequences because of them not using correct protocols with transactions
I had the worst experience in my life ordering shoes from y’all I ordered some sneakers y’all sent me the wrong size and it was for a very big event in my life so y’all sent me a replacement out and sent the same wrong size again I was so furious I will never shop from y’all again or referred anybody to y’all and the customer service was horrible they barely spoke English and it came in a horrible box the box was completely torn up on the second order y’all messed up my whole even by sending me two wrong pair of shoes and I had no time to order anymore yea very disappointed in y’all company
DSW sent me a coupon for $30 to use in store or online. Of course, it did seem a bit too good to be true, but I tried using it on their website when I found a pair of shoes I wanted, but the code they said to enter was rejected with no explanation as to why. I went into the store to try and find out and the clerk steered me to a list of exclusions. The exclusions list was just about every brand in the store although she did say that the total line wasn't necessarily excluded, just some of the models within that brand. Well, good luck with that. The way of doing business is shady to say the least. If they want to lure people into buying their shoes, give them a lower priced coupon that will work for anything. As it is, such shady business tactics are a turn off, and DSW will no longer be a first choice for shoes.
DSW BOCACame in for their Buy more sale. Spent over an hour searching for shoes that didn’t have disclaimer sign. When I finally found 3 pairs that I thought took promotion was disappointed at register to just be told they don’t apply. I said none of them have disclaimer sign & they said it’s listed online. So I said never mind & not only did they lose a sale but lost a customer for the bad customer service I received.
Be careful with your personal information with this place! I have an email address I have had for 20 years and a phone number I have had for at least 10. They just recently decided to add someone else's information to my account at DSW. I can now see that 'Tiffany' just ordered some shoes- I can see their last 4 of their card and their home address. I reported this to the BBB and DSW's answer was to change the login email address. That's it! And then proceeded to send me purchase notifications that Tiffany bought something and it is now shipping. Someone in store associated their account with my phone number and email.Ridiculous. Do not give them your information- pay cash in store if you have to get something from them and if they ask for your zip or phone number, don't do it.
I ordered a pair of shoes, they sent me two different colors and two left feet. They somehow managed to at least get the correct brand and style of shoe, sadly they could not manage any of the other details. Talking to customer service was an ABYSMAL experience and time that I can never get back from my life. Sticking my hand in a meat grinder would have been more pleasant and possibly more helpful. They could not help me exchange the shoes, my only option was to return, they could not tell me where my nearest store was nor what inventory they might have, they were unable to really be helpful at all aside from telling me to return the shoes. I ordered a second, correct pair, not in the color I wanted because magically they were all out and 48 hours later decided to cancel the order because I found the correct shoes elsewhere and not shockingly customer service was neither helpful nor polite and unwilling to pick up a phone and find a way to cancel the order. They "had limitations". Perhaps they should consider not using people in India to do their customer service. I will NEVER step foot in or order online from this company again. I am so disappointed in how awful this company has become. Do not waste your time.
