Very bad experience trying to resolve an issue with Xbox live. The call center and chat wasted over 90 minutes of my day only to hang up on me. I asked for a supervisor because my credit card info may have been compromised or used by one of the kid's friends and they said too bad, so sad, call the bank, we don't refund fraudulent purchases or tell you who is charging your account because the account info we are charging is not your email... Say what??? I know it's not my email. That's why I am trying to find out how to stop the charges and get a refund. The call center is somewhere overseas because I could barely understand them.
I’ve had the Xbox one for about two years. I just recently started having issues with the system glitching. After following their advice I did a system reset which wiped all my games and information out of the systems. After finding out that was not fixing the problem they told me my warranty was expired..... so I will have to pay 150 to have them fix a problem within their own system.... this does not seem fair. I spend a considerable amount of money on this system on games and I purchase movies. I have been a gold member since they started this live stuff and I have been an Xbox owner for 16 years, and I’ve never ran into a problem where they have made me pay for their system failing. I have light bulbs that last longer than 2 years!!! And for the price of the system, games, movies and yearly fee they can’t fix their own piece of garbage? I am done with Xbox and I think they will be losing more customers to PlayStation 4 because of this bad business. After this they have lost me as a long time customer and future customer through my children thanks!
Xbox.com is the web version of your xbox profile where you should be able to contact friends view game clips etc. It is the worst website I have ever had the displeasure of using. Nothing seems to work as it should. Your constantly trying to reload pages. Simply being run by monkeys it seems. How are these people getting paid ? Its typical Microsoft.where they have a platform which COULD be amazing yet they are lazy and never actyualy make it work. Terrible excuse for a website.
my controller made mysterious ghostmoves and i sent it to the service.it arrived 3 days later at their office by ups.so 4 days passed and the status changed from in charge to your product was sent so i thought a new controller is on it's way,but none of that.we have october 14th now and nothing happens.no controller came.i contacted the service multiple times and all they said was we dont know what happened we gonna contact you.no one contacts me.how can you call this service?
Multiple fraudulent charges were made through this system to my account. Microsoft refused to refund. It was so obvious, one test charge, then a whole bunch more the next day through a payment pathway that has not been used in years. Microsoft could not care less about hacking or fraud but heaven forbid you offend some snowflake and they don't hesitate to take control of your account. The customer no-service useless oversees nobody you have to wait an hour to talk to actually told me he could not see the charges on my account unless I gave him access. What a load of crap, they shut down any persons account at the drop of a hat. Lies, lots of lies.Do not allow this company access to any of your accounts, if any are hacked and charges made they will not listen to you. Every very obvious charges that you could not have possibly made. This company could care less that they stole your money!!!!
I recently got harassed on Xbox over a gamer picture and it wasn’t even offensive and then I get harassed by Xbox support and they say they cannot do anything for the ban and after I got off the phone with Xbox I get another email saying that I got another ban but it doesn’t even say why so you know what I’m done with Xbox they have been disrespectful and non helpful to me and even my friends have had major problems with them, I’ve been playing Xbox before the 360 and all I gotta say is that it’s time to make a change and buy a PlayStation 4. This is absolutely unacceptable! And yes I’ve called Microsoft support to discuss the problem I had about a 1 day ban and they just simply harassed me and after I got off the phone with them I was given a 3 day ban!
Where do I start? The last console I had was a PS3, and when the latest generation of consoles were released I was torn as to what console to upgrade to. I had some friends who swore by the fact the Xbox experience was better than the PlayStation, so subsequently I bought an Xbox One. I wish I hadn't, as I've had nothing but problems since the day I bought it. It's not just me as one of my friends who was in the same boat as me at the time, made the same decision as me and is suffering from the same issues. To name the issues I've experienced: 1. When one controller dies, I turn the controller off to put it on charge and turn on a separate controller to continue playing, sounds simple, yes? No, both controllers disconnect from the console. Why I need to sign myself into a controller every time I turn a new controller on each time is beyond me. PlayStation controllers, you just switch the controllers over when one of them loses its charge and you just carry on playing. 2.a. The mic occasionally struggles to register to the console. 2.b. I've spent more than enough on new mics because they last for about 6 months and then die. And this is not because of over use as I work full time and get plenty of excerise so I feel the Xbox mics are of poor quality. 3. The servers are useless. Whatever game I play, the game lags, without fail. My Wi-Fi connection is fine, as all my other products work seamlessly. Xbox Live is quite often down which obviously stops me from playing with my friends. 4. The games - they freeze, jump and exit the game altogether fairly often. This is highly frustrating considering the amount I paid for the console and games and would expect better. 5. When in a party with my friends, it quite often disconnects one of us at random from the party. 6. Not too much of an issue but as I'm on a role I may as well bring it up. Why do we need to use batteries or battery packs to run the controllers? I felt this was a backwards step from when I had a PS3 where it had internal batteries which could be charged from a USB cable into the console. A number of these issues happen to me as well my friend (mentioned above) with out fail, every single time we turn the console on. Its a case of which issues will we experience today when we turn the console on. I have contacted Xbox Support countless times, who to be fair have been very helpful, but it is just hard work to resolve these constant issues which should, in this day and age, work with minimal problems. I feel that is unacceptable. I paid a lot of money for the console, the games, numerous mics and the gold membership, and I do not feel I'm getting value for money. If this was the first Xbox console ever to be released, these are the sort of issues I would expect, not something which got released only a few years ago. I'm struggling to work out what it is, which everyone raves about the Xbox over the PlayStation. I never had any of the above issues with the PlayStation and I wish I never made the switch, as I'm very disappointed. I would never buy another Xbox console if someone paid me. Likewise I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy an Xbox console as it is a waste of money.
Microsoft and Xbox provide the worst customer support you will ever receive. I am not sure how they are allowed to run a business with this sort of "support". I have been unable to use my xbox now for 3 months and have spent in excess of 10 hours speaking to "advisors" from Microsoft and Xbox who have been useless.
I am currently on hold to Xbox UK customer support hearing this stupid advert over and over again. I have an issue with my Xbox and I simply need advice on how to fix it or to send it off. I have been waiting for over half an hour to speak to someone who will probably tell me something from a script. I have also messaged Xbox UK on Facebook to seek advice as it says they are "very good at responding messages" which they are as it's an automatic response directing you towards the Xbox support website which shows general issues not personal issues. If this continues I will just get rid of my Xbox and go somewhere else with a customer service team who can actually answer a phone---------UPDATE------------I finally managed to get through to Xbox support and hanging up and calling Microsoft, who hung up on me because it was "an Xbox, not Microsoft, issue". I got through by saying I was cancelling my Xbox live so anyone having issues go through that way because as expected they'd answer to save money. I was told that because my Xbox may be out of warranty, not that they checked, I would have to pay £120 for a repair but I could buy a new one for £200. I'm I have £200 lying around in a corner somewhere the week before I get paid.Xbox support you are fantastic. (And seeing as Xbox are useless I feel the need to explain to them that is sarcasm)
