Where do I start

Where do I start? The last console I had was a PS3, and when the latest generation of consoles were released I was torn as to what console to upgrade to. I had some friends who swore by the fact the Xbox experience was better than the PlayStation, so subsequently I bought an Xbox One. I wish I hadn't, as I've had nothing but problems since the day I bought it. It's not just me as one of my friends who was in the same boat as me at the time, made the same decision as me and is suffering from the same issues. To name the issues I've experienced: 1. When one controller dies, I turn the controller off to put it on charge and turn on a separate controller to continue playing, sounds simple, yes? No, both controllers disconnect from the console. Why I need to sign myself into a controller every time I turn a new controller on each time is beyond me. PlayStation controllers, you just switch the controllers over when one of them loses its charge and you just carry on playing. 2.a. The mic occasionally struggles to register to the console. 2.b. I've spent more than enough on new mics because they last for about 6 months and then die. And this is not because of over use as I work full time and get plenty of excerise so I feel the Xbox mics are of poor quality. 3. The servers are useless. Whatever game I play, the game lags, without fail. My Wi-Fi connection is fine, as all my other products work seamlessly. Xbox Live is quite often down which obviously stops me from playing with my friends. 4. The games - they freeze, jump and exit the game altogether fairly often. This is highly frustrating considering the amount I paid for the console and games and would expect better. 5. When in a party with my friends, it quite often disconnects one of us at random from the party. 6. Not too much of an issue but as I'm on a role I may as well bring it up. Why do we need to use batteries or battery packs to run the controllers? I felt this was a backwards step from when I had a PS3 where it had internal batteries which could be charged from a USB cable into the console. A number of these issues happen to me as well my friend (mentioned above) with out fail, every single time we turn the console on. Its a case of which issues will we experience today when we turn the console on. I have contacted Xbox Support countless times, who to be fair have been very helpful, but it is just hard work to resolve these constant issues which should, in this day and age, work with minimal problems. I feel that is unacceptable. I paid a lot of money for the console, the games, numerous mics and the gold membership, and I do not feel I'm getting value for money. If this was the first Xbox console ever to be released, these are the sort of issues I would expect, not something which got released only a few years ago. I'm struggling to work out what it is, which everyone raves about the Xbox over the PlayStation. I never had any of the above issues with the PlayStation and I wish I never made the switch, as I'm very disappointed. I would never buy another Xbox console if someone paid me. Likewise I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy an Xbox console as it is a waste of money.
