The website is useful for checking on service announcements, changing profile stuff, etc. However, if you have a real problem it is very difficult to find help. You know when you run a troubleshooter in windows and it fails to find a solution? Xbox.com is exactly like that. I have spent well over eight hours trying to find a way to accept the new terms of service for a child account, and after finding absolutely nothing on the website, nor a place where I could talk to a real human being, I found the solution. I had to borrow a second Xbox controller, then sign in to both the account I was trying to accept changes on, and the parent account. To sign in to the parent account, I had to use an "app password," a random string of numbers and letters buried deep under "Your Microsoft Account Security Information." Only after both accounts were signed in using two separate controllers (who would've guessed?) was I able to accept the new changes. *sigh*At least I know for next time...
I have had 3 faulty xbox 360's in the past, and have just had my xbox one Kinect break on my.After contacting customer support, each time as the product has been in warranty, it has been replaced without question.I would recommend Microsofts customer support to anyone, and likewise their products!
While Microsoft's Xbox One dashboard certainly has it's many cons, I really can't fault the company's customer support. Talking to their online support team is fluid and easy and the support team are an absolute dream to talk to. They have resolved my issues countless times and I would recommend Xbox to anybody!
they are well orgized but that's to be expected for a large comptney there live soppourt is grate an there call support is fan taskte an one day I hope there games get even more grate for years to come there the best gaming todate
Xbox.com & the Xbox/Microsoft corporation have been leaders in innovation in many key areas of the gaming & computer industry. To see the recent explosion in advancement has been fantastic. I would recommend Xbox to anyone & having actually engaged with the company, rather than just logging into an open platform to do someone down.
There have been many challengers over the years who have helped the competitive edge so focused, but for me on a personal choice Xbox & microsoft deserve credit for making the industry such a great place to be part of. Their site is easy to navigate & use. 10/10 Xbox, keep up the the good work.
Was trying to buy live time once and it declined the card due to it being my girlfriends card. Tried sorting it out online with the chat and done everything they told me to do and still didn't work. Great company but it seems like the customer service isn't to sure what they are doing.
I have to say that in my opinion the Xbox One is 2-3 steps backwards it is so user Unfriendly, it took me and another person 30 minutes of to-ing and fro-ing to get into a party to play a game online. dashboard is awful compared to the 360
Whilst in the USA, on a new account of a partner's console, I purchased an excess of $200 in downloads and these were not accessible once I returned home. Is it any surprise when they once considered locking discs to specific consoles? I thought they'd belong to my account, and I'd have ownership as a British citizenship to take them with me, but they've become overly possessive of downloads which although flexible - open to their discretion in access - they create rules/restrictions which adversely, unfairly effect the user - a practice no one should endorse if they care for reasonable ownership of their products.
Incidentally, due to Microsoft's implied actions during the Xbox One's launch - interestingly reserved but reflective of their intentions as a corporate body - and the relation of these to my experience, I obviously avoided them as I do not want to support these implicit principles in action - very constrictive to the consumer's ownership, their rights to be flexible with their purchase.
I'm delighted they have competition or they'd simply implement these awful conditions happily and I doubt any legislative power has the concern of the industry to intervene (hence the already abhorrent activities present at times).
Otherwise, I've enjoyed their excellent service, brilliant catalogue, maintenance and security - none of these as detrimental to a fun overall subscription to them. Their console is excellent and so is their software. Additionally, with the introduction of discounts and free titles for Gold members, I think there's a respectful incentive to become one.
