Horrific customer service. Kids sizing is way off and returns are handled third party so you have to wait 3 weeks for this to be processed. Since it takes this long, the size I want to exchange my item for sold out. A complete waste of time for an average quality product with poor fit. Sort yourselves out Abercrombie!
Would rate 0 stars if I could. My order NEVER arrived, I have a Ring doorbell to prove it was never delivered. After initially reaching out, Abercrombie initiated replacement order, but CANCELLED it the next day, saying they have no responsibility over packages once they leave their distribution center. Thankfully I was able to report the charge with my bank who refunded my $120 after Abercrombie refused multiple times. Such a shame because I was a very very loyal customer to Abercrombie prior to this and now not be returning. Absolutely disgusting that a company would treat their customers this way.
I don’t know what happened to the quality control at Abercrombie but it’s basically non existent. Placed an order for five things. Three arrived defective and one was not at all what I ordered. Their clothes used to be pretty decent, but now it’s ALL absolute garbage. The sewing is crap and the seams fall out, the sweaters pill, and the fit is ridiculously all over the place.
I placed an order for five items totaling almost 400.00. One of the items, a 90.00 pair of jeans, were not in the shipment, instead it was a pair of HOLLISTER SWEATPANTS. ABERCROMBIE refused to replace or refund. Disputing with my credit card company. Terrible service
Awful customer service! I received a few incorrect items in my order. After seeing this, I contacted customer service and was told to return them back for a refund. I did exactly that the same day and didn't receive a response for 2 weeks first. I reached out again and was told that this situation had to be transferred to the relevant department. I place this order on September 12 and it is now November 29 and I still have not received my refund. I spent over £300 on this order and they have just stolen it. Be careful when placing orders with this company as their customer service is awful!
I purchased the A&F Pullover Hoodie and was initially thrilled with its style and comfort. However, I noticed that after just a few washes, the fabric began to fade noticeably, which was incredibly disappointing for a product at a $70 price point. Hoping to resolve the issue, I reached out to customer service, and they exceeded my expectations from the very start.The representatives were responsive and genuinely helpful. Initially, they suggested I return the item to the post office, but I explained that I had been unwell, which caused some delays on my end. They were understanding, ultimately offering to replace the hoodie entirely. To my surprise, the replacement arrived within just one day, making the experience seamless and hassle-free.
I decided to buy some fierce by Abercrombie as I had not had or used this cologne for a long time and the memories were all good it had a strong all day lasting fragrance. However after spending my hard earned money, I immediately noticed the scent was nothing like it used to be. Previous it was a strong lasting scent. Now it is extremely mild with no last at all. a complete waste of time and money, Definately would not recommend,
Purchased a bottle of Fierce cologne from Abercrombie.com on 10/29/24. Received the bottle and upon inspection found that the contents had very little to no fragrance. Just an alcohol scent. I have been using this cologne for twenty years so I know how it should smell. I compared it to the contents of my old bottle and the difference was stark. Chatted online and told the rep about the problem. Was informed they would send another bottle and not to worry about sending the bottle back. Was a bit shocked that they did not want to test the product for quality control. Received the second bottle and inspected it and found it to be the same as the first. Only an alcohol scent and very faint fragrance, nothing at all even close to my old bottle (three years old). I even took the new bottles to a local department store that sells colognes so they could give their opinion and their opinion was that the bottles were old or had never been produced with the proper amount of fragrance. The second bottle they sent contained the exact same lot number that the first one did. I would have thought they could have at least tried a different lot number when sending another bottle to me. Went online and chatted again to inform them about the problem and they apologized and told me that they would refund the purchase price. I asked them again didn't they want the bottles for testing and was told no. After posting a review of my experience on the BBB website I received an email from Hollister Customer Service asking me to send the bottle back at my expense and that they would then issue a refund. They said they would refund the shipping cost via a gift card. I do not want an gift card as I have no intention of patronizing this business again. I refuse to pay to have the bottles (the ones that they did not want back after asking two different reps) sent back to them. There was a prepaid return label in the box that I will use to return the bottles. So disappointed.
