Have placed many orders over the years. Always quick to deliver. But when I asked to return an item (for the first time ever), I find out that the only way to return an item in Greece is to take to UPS which is located near the Athens airport.... Online chat support first suggested I return the item to any US store.... Then they suggested I take it to any other carrier and pay for all return fees. You expect me to return an item paying 20% of its value out of my own pocket? While you have no provision for your clients who do not happen to be based near the Athens airport in Greece??? Email support also unresponsive for days.UPDATE: Had to contact them again. Once again they only suggest I use any other carrier and not even offer to pay for the shipping costs. It's a joke given I've placed multiple orders over the years and never returned an item before. They only care for money and have lost all credibility post discrimination scandal
Do not order from Abercrombie & Fitch unless you want to risk losing your money. We returned an item due to poor fit a month ago. They keep delaying the refund and we are on the 3rd delay. It seems we may have to go through the credit card company to get the money back and even they are reluctant due to Abercrombie saying they will refund. They just never do. They have become a very shady business. I would give them a zero if I could.
I have recently been ordering online as there is not a location near me. The items did not fit so I returned them and despite having the shipping confirmation that the items were returned by purolator I did not receive a refund. After reaching out and much back and forth they finally issued a refund. I ordered something else a couple weeks later, once again needed to be returned for sizing, had confirmation of the item being returned but did not receive a refund. I reached out and was told to wait 10 days for processing, more than 10 days have passed and still no refund. Do they think people are not going to check their accounts and they can just freely keep the money? If you have returned an item, ensure you actually get your money back!
Wasted a lot of time and effort going on backorder for the item to go back and be cancelled, then come back into stock on the sale, to then speak to an agent to be told to order it again now it was in stock... for it to be backordered and cancel out.Basically - go to ASOS, avoid the main website sales at all costs.
The worst experience I’ve ever have with any retailer company !!! I didn’t get any refund for my stolen parcel what was left in the wrong safe place.They completely don’t know the law. Customer service is located in completely different country than they sell. They reply for emails at 4-5 am and after 4-5 days. They’re without any knowledge of the UK law. They do whatever they want. Disgusting! Especially for such an overpriced clothes !!!!
I was really excited for the new improved Abercrombie clothes and started buying a lot of clothes from them again. I had to reach out to customer service when I had an issue with a shipment being stolen and they refused to resend the package. Told me I could rebuy the stolen items and wouldn’t issue a refund. After all the PR to fix the horrible culture of the brand in the 90s they still can’t figure out customer service.
Terrible Customer Service and Unacceptable Response TimesI had a truly frustrating and disappointing experience with this company. On Monday, June 10th, 2024, I placed an order on their website and immediately realized I needed to cancel it. I promptly contacted their customer service via email the same day, requesting a cancellation and a refund.Shockingly, it took their service team two whole days to respond to my urgent cancellation request. By the time they finally got back to me, the order had already been processed and submitted, completely ignoring my initial requests. This delay is entirely unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.Despite multiple inquiries on my part, the issue was not addressed promptly, resulting in unnecessary expenses and wasted time on my end. This entire situation could have been easily avoided if the staff had taken my cancellation request seriously and acted on it the same day.It is evident that this business does not value the time and money of its customers. I will never engage with their services again and strongly advise others to avoid this company at all costs. Their customer service is inefficient, unresponsive, and ultimately detrimental to a positive consumer experience.Avoid this company if you value your time and money.
This is a complaint about the interview process for the position of sales assistant. The treatment of the people they supposedly want to hire is horrible and humiliating. I applied to the shop located in the Westfield shopping centre in London. I applied in the normal way and received an interview offer. I responded indicating my availability of date and time, but did not receive confirmation, which I found strange. Despite this, I attended the interview at the suggested time. Upon arrival, during roll call, my name was not mentioned and, in a humiliating manner, I was made to get off with an employee who simply told me to leave. I felt discriminated against and humiliated by the lack of ethics and morals of the shop staff. In addition, I noticed that all the employees were white. I am of brown skin and from Latin American origin, which makes me think that there is an obvious bias in their hiring process.
