Review Time
I placed an order on 11/08 and was advised my order would be delivered by 18/08. This did not happen so I contacted A&F and was advised there had been an error and they were hugely apologetic and sent my order out. My order was then out for delivery on 26/08 however I then received a notification from Royal Mail advising my order had been returned to sender- it turned out that A&F had incorrectly forgot to add my house number and street to the label. In an attempt to get my order returned to me with the correct address (FYI I had put this in correctly in the first place and it was their system who messed it up), I was advised that this was not possible and all they could do was refund and help me with re-ordering the items. I confirmed I was agreeable with this because I didn’t want to have to go through the rigmarole of ordering again. I then received an email saying that my order had been refunded and that was that. When I went back to advise that I was wanting assistance in reordering my items I was told I had to phone them. I confirmed I was unable to do so and was redirected to the website or to go in in person to re-order the items I had initially ordered. After all this I felt I was getting nowhere so went on to the website to manually reorder my order and was then told that the jeans I wanted were no longer available in my size. When I went back to A&F to advise of my frustration at this whole process they said all they could do was price match what I had initially paid for the jeans but they had no way of knowing when they would be back in stock.This was my first time ordering with A&F and I was genuinely excited having seen them all over social media but honestly this is the worst online experience I’ve ever endured. So disappointed as I needed these jeans and still so unclear why they couldn’t have rectified my address on the label and just re-sent. Such a waste of time.
In the Netherlands they use Budbee as a delivery company. They fail to deliver packages and don’t even attempt to to deliver them. Unfortunately I will not even try on the ordered items so I can not comment on the clothes….Still as long as they are using Budbee I will not order from them any longer
Despite the bad reviews I've read here, I've never had a problem with this brand.I've made numerous orders in the last year, and they always sent me within the estimated time to Portugal.They have not failed once.Once I had a problem with the website (the order disappeared from history), I contacted customer support via chat and they quickly responded.From my experience I can only recommend them.
Customer Service is horrible. I ordered an item online. Unfortunately the jeans were too long. So I asked if I could exchange it for the right size. No problem, they said "Just send it back, and we will ship out the right length for you". So I did, and never heard back. I contacted them a week after sending it and they told me to wait a bit. So I did. After 3 weeks and still nothing I contacted them again and then they told me that it has been too long since I returned the item for them to do a exchange. Like what? Then just do the exchange now? After another week of back and forth, they told me the item I wanted was now out of stock. Like are you kidding me? Don't offer exchanges if you can't manage them.
I have had an ongoing issue with pending payments. Abercrombie took money out of my account for my order plus a pre authorisation payment, making me out of pocket.Their customer service has been shocking. I’ve had conversations with them for over a week now and nothing has been resolved.Would not recommend and will not be shopping again.
