I've always had playstation AND xbox consoles and they both have their flaws but I've never sided with one or the other but after today ile be selling my xbox simply because of their server banning me for 2 days from swearing 🤬 they also have the ordasity to give me 1 strike out of 8!? What's that about? Xbox threatening to delete my account? Either way keep your console ile stick with playstation
Disappointed my refund request was denied. An accidental purchase made and now I have to keep it. I've played and enjoyed Xbox for well over 10 years, and this is the first time as a truly loyal customer I've felt like none of that mattered, and I'll just be treated like a nobody.Everyone should absolutely have exceptional customer service, but tenure and loyalty should go some way to decision making too.Too strict, bad taste. Really unfortunate.
Won’t let you play Minecraft on Play station unless you buy the game pass at £15 a month. Just to play one game is an absolute joke. Then you will need PS PLUS another £10 so it’s £25 a month just to play one game online. Time to kick consoles into touch and only buy gaming PCs from now on. The greed of these people is disguising I think criminals would treats people better and fairer than this lol.
Xbox is honestly rage inducing terrible. From constant service issues year round to hardly any real sales that isn’t $1-$5 off pff what kinda sale is that! All PC markets, Sony & Nintendo actually know how to do real sales at 20% off and up CONSTANTLY. Also Xbox is full of trolls, cheaters and bullies that bait you into raging than report you which is BS because than you get banned or as they say “suspended” because you get all the stuff you paid for back except the Xbox live membership time they steal from you and don’t reimburse the lost time and expect you to keep renewing your membership. They could at least give you the time you weren’t allowed on YOUR console with YOUR games back but they expect single players to be anuff. I’m tired of not being able to play a game or even leave spawn it’s not right to ban me for telling them to F off and if I quit than the game punishes me. I loose any way it goes and it’s not right. I’ve been ban for spawn killers and team killers. I’ve also tried to fight every injustice Xbox abuses me with and by banning victims and I get told the same thing every time we’re the contract gives them all rights and if I don’t like it I can go F myself even tho suppressing someone’s right to defend themselves and having freedom of speech todo so is against the constitution and the bill of rights which is the law of the land no if and or buts. Sadly Xbox doesn’t give a damn about it’s customers or what’s right or wrong. All they care about is how they can trick you into spending more money. I agree that if someone is bullying or harassing someone they should be punished but stripping them of everything is waaay too far this isn’t communist China and Microsoft/ Xbox is an American company which means they must follow the law of the land. If I get in trouble for telling a guy off than make it to were I can’t talk to people outside my friends list. If I cheat on a game than fine make it to were I can’t play that game. Now if someone is constantly cheating than make it to were they can’t play online. But the idea of being GOD is BS especially when they don’t care about their customers. Another problem is a lot of people can’t buy a good anuff PC so when they say if you don’t like it you can leave which is wrong because they know people are already invested IN YOUR PRODUCTS & SERVICES FOR YEARS especially sense I can’t bring my games unlike steam. Xbox also rarely ever clears you past violations which lead to more severe punishment. For example I got a strike for saying “go to hell” and sense I had another a year and a half ago that I deserved because I said something I regret and served the ban time. But the past offense made my small tell off to a spawn camper that wouldn’t let me spawn a 3 week ban from all services except single player offline games and things like Hulu and YouTube but the worst part is my 1st amendment right was stripped because now I can’t talk to my friends in a chat in any form! all my friends moved to different states after graduation but we keep in touch and vent to each other on Xbox privet chats but now I’m forced to have no outlet while I work 2 jobs doing 50 hours a week minimum at jobs I hate and don’t pay minimum wage but they just told me sorry not sorry. Xbox only cares about a quick buck so we can drop dead while they keep everything while going after kids through celebrity endorsers. Save your money get a PC or downgrade to Nintendo, it tares me up to see the gaming industry I grew up with crumble to greed and betray me and many others. So many that they closed the form to be added to and through a snobby pro corporate up top.Summary is Xbox is a money grubbing scrooge that doesn’t care about anyone. Lower your prices on subscriptions and do better sales. You have a monopoly it won't hurt to do right by your supporters/ fans
To spend money I simply click "buy" on the console and the transaction is complete instantly. I do not have to sign in or perform any other steps.To redeem a £5 reward which I have accumulated from literally years of game time I have to turn my PC on, go to the website, put my password in a second time (already signed in), give them my phone number, solve a puzzle, receive a code to the phone and type it in, return to previous screen to receive another code however this code of course does not work twice because this is the one that gives me the reward. This also happened to a friend of mine.Ask yourself: Is Microsoft, a trillion dollar tech corporation, incapable of making it as smooth as purchasing a gift card from them? Or is it a cynical effort to wave rewards in your face but make it as hard as possible to receive them?However, for balance, despite the greedy megacorp tactics it's a great console offering a much cheaper entry to gaming than PC, a wide variety of games, a good subscription service (although again greedy megacorp will keep upping the price as they push you away from discs), controller is the best in the business ever, well made and for now at least still comes with the disc tray.
I warn people not to buy digital games thru Microsoft. I bought red dead redemption 2 years ago. Worked great for years. Until I started using my friends xbox cause mine was messing up. I lost access to the game. Called Microsoft and they said I never purchased the game. That I must be playing it thru game share or game pass. However and simple Google search shows RDR2 is not on game pass and doesn't allow game sharing of its game. And they won't look into any farther since I dont have the email they sent me 5 years ago. And they somehow lost it on their side in my purchase history. It's not that I didn't get my game back that makes me mad the most. its that they literally didn't even try to investigate what happened. Especially since I see complaints of it happening to other people. DO NOT buy digital games thru Microsoft or xbox. Go buy the hard copy. They can't argue if u own that or not.
What a crap company billion and billion dollar behind it and still doesnt care for a smooth login, if u change email password u cant login to xbox anymore, it just gets stuck, and their email provider is also the most crappy one u ever see.if its free... u are the product!!!
X-box customer support is the worst.It's all AI and there is no way to talk to someone, It says there is a phone number to call for help but it's impossible to find.The AI support is horrendous and useless and offers little to no help.
I purchased a brand new xbox series s for my daughter at the start of the year, it was faulty from the beginning,sent it for repair, it came back with more problems than before, xbox customer service puts me through to little geeky boys probably sitting and working remotely, very polite but then don't actually solve problems, the sorry state of xbox now is truly upsetting, I hate to say it but this OG xbox user in now a PlayStation user, my daughter is too. We are now witnessing the downfall of xbox, its a shame for sure. If I could give them zero stars I would. Thieving rats.
