Review of aliexpress
Beware AliExpress is a selling platform but unlike Amazon or Temu, you deal directly with sellers. This means each item is sent separately and you are at the mercy of the seller!I have brought many items from all. I have never had any problems with Temu or Amazon with returns. Just bear in mind the quality is what you pay for.First experience with AliExpress was great, but it was an expensive item, a Joyoung soymilk maker. I had a large customs bill, but the seller provided recipes and a free jug as they didn’t sell replacements. Great communication. For the cheaper items I had a nightmare when I wish to return despite a supposedly free return, I was asked to prepay postage and claim back. 2 companies refused to refund the goods or postage. Another had faulty goods but refuse to refund. AliExpress customer services is awful, poor English and uses delay tactics to wear you down.Update 1: I see AliExpress responded but that was the same with their customer service via chat, many failed promises, repeated requests for evidence and e-mail requests (why when my profile data has it?). I asked repeatedly to check their chat history, in which they always apologises, promised to investigate further giving their upmost attention, why can’t customers see chat history?? I should still be in the 90day protection yet at time they say it is too late despite delaying tactic is on them so they could close the case. This is not about the money but the principle of being cheated & the effort I spent reasoning with them. I have notified my credit card company, even if I loose the postage, I don’t want the unscrupulous sellers get their way!Update 2: refund on 1 but not on postage which they said they would twice in chat.Another item, demand for tracking order when I said there is none other than posting receipt which is £19.30, twice the value of the goods as it was going Hong Kong. Why ask same thing multiple times?I was offered 30% refund for the faulty one but why won’t they let me return it. Why would I wear something with a couple of holes & accept a partial refund?Update3: incredible, they responded to my credit card company with completely the wrong items. Can’t they check my account?? Have provided details to my credit card company to pursue…..

Review of venmo
I received a payment for $2000 and immediately transferred into my checking account. Soon after my account was locked and Venmo said I needed to redeposit the $2000 because the payer filed a complaint of fraud. I spoke with the payer (a close friend) and he said he never did such a thing. Both our accounts were frozen and we do not understand why. We’ve both tried contacting CS but they make it impossible to talk with anyone or even submit a written request for help. I’ve never experienced such non-existent customer service anywhere. If there’s an error somewhere we’d like to fix it, but Venmo needs to explain.

Review of org
As much as I support the NT and enjoy going to places I have an issue. I rang to get the 25% discount, the person on the phone sounded as she did not enjoy her job, sounded quite miserable and was very unwelcoming. Made me feel that I was a unwelcome intrusion on her day. Left me wondering if she would have preferred me to stop my membership rather inconveniencing her with a reduction so that I can stay and support

Review of softwareadvice
We received some insightful recommendations for the new time tracking software, and the advisor, Matt, was very helpful in introducing us to the companies that matched our expectations, which saved us time and made our decision easier.
Review of pandora
Placed an order, paid, got confirmation by my bank that payment was processed. No emails from pandora, nothing to say they had processed the order. Rand the helpline which only allows you to enter the order number to procede. Since they had not sent me any confirmation emails I had no order number. After many attempts I discovered that if you listen to the vocal server to repeat "enter you order number bla bla bla," that if you hold you get transfered to a human. Why not say that on the server? Anyway the human told me that since I had no confirmation that my payment can't have been processed by my bank and that I had to prove that the bank had processed the payment! The insinuation is that I was lying and had cancelled the payment. I was about to set off to the bank to get some sort of official payment proof when the delivery guy tunrs up with my order! Really bad service. Really bad attitude. Really bad organisation. Never again.

Review of backblaze
I would absolutely NOT recommend Backblaze to anyone who expects service & professionalism. It has been a nightmare dealing with them.I recently bought a new MacPro & emailed Backblaze so I could restore the backed up data to my new computer. They sent me a USB hard drive which I found difficult to use ; I am not tech savvy. I had to unlock the drive. Then the drive backed up for a few seconds & stopped. At one point the support point person (who sometimes gave me an answer to my question or just repeated a previous email answer), gave me advice that would have deleted my backup. When I pointed this out , he said he mixed up my ticket with someone else’s ticket. THIS IS CLEARLY UNACCEPTABLE.I then left 3 voicemails for the lead support person & additionally I wrote an email to both the CEO & the head of the support team regarding this unacceptable scary mixup. As of today (easily 20 days out) I have not heard from anyone I‘ve contacted.Additionally I discovered that Backblaze had charged me twice so I pointed out this mistake to them.Fast forward, I finally had to pay Apple a $100 to transfer the data from my old computer to my new MacPRO. In summary I have paid twice: to Backblaze (with no reliable service) & to Apple.
