I purchased the Philips Sleep Headphones (N7808, powered by Kokoon) based on Philips’ reputation for innovation and wellness. Unfortunately, the experience has been disappointing—and not because of the hardware, which is fine—but because the digital service that makes these headphones function has effectively collapsed.The Kokoon app is no longer working properly for many users, and customer support has gone dark. After weeks without a response, I and many others are left with a product that no longer performs as advertised.Here’s the real issue: Philips has put its name on this product. While Kokoon may be the technical partner, the moment the Philips brand appears on the box, this becomes a Philips customer experience. And that experience right now is broken.If Philips intends to stay in the wellness and consumer tech space, it needs to take responsibility for the user journey—not just the hardware—and step in to fix this. Silence and distancing won’t protect the brand from long-term damage.Great idea. Poor execution. And right now, no accountability. I hope this changes, fast.
I had issues with my ambilight TV, I asked for help at the end of April and tried all the actions Phillips advised. These did not work and after alot of back and forth an engineer took the TV away on 3/6/25. It is now 23/6/25 and I have had to chase up repeatedly to find out what is going on. As of yet I still have no confirmation when my TV will be returned. It feels like theft. Do not buy from Phillips!
Terrible customer service. Sent me a defective product. I returned it according to their process. No communication or confirmation that they have received it even though FedEx confirms that they delivered it. After complaining, they tell me it will take 2-3 weeks to ship a replacement and they cannot refund me. No email confirmation of what they are doing and the ones that they send are incorrect. Do not ever buy anything from Philips.
I bought a shaver, 3000 series.The worst product I ever spend my money on. I rarely used it as it is useless. One day I cleaned it thinking it could be because of the dirt or something that is stuck in it. But it proved worthless. I threw it in the bin on the same day. I use an Aldi-bought cheap shaver and it works like magic for several years now.
I was given an older model tv, and it works great! The remote is starting to lose function with some of the buttons. I ordered a remote from Amazon using the model # from the tv, and it didn't operate the tv. I ordered another one and it too does not work. I have called the customer service number and was told that it's an older model and I had to call a different number. The number that I was given just answers with "this number is available for your business use." I found live chat, and the agent told me I needed to call the customer service number I had already tried and was told to call a different number. Chat told me this because this was their oral care chat. It doesn't say that's what it is for when you find it. All I want is a remote to work. I will be purchasing a universal remote and use it until the tv quits working. When I buy a new tv, it won't be a Philips. This saddens me because I always thought highly of them. But, not being able to get help is frustrating.
Well the one star which people are assigning them is pretty much what this company reflects.Awful service .I was send a courtesy replacement toothbrush since mine was defected and the electrical toothbrush barely lasted one year .Obviously asked for another replacement and i was defined . I will be more than happy to add my review in all of their media which they share . AWFUL
A card included with the product I purchased promised a free accessory in exchange for registration. Once I registered my product, I was told, basically, "Nah, we don't really give you what we promised, but here's a 20%-off coupon instead." A company as big as Philips should be above small-time bait-and-switch scams. Nevertheless, judging by their low reviews here, they have a habit of being less than honest.
