Decent laptop, motherboard broke once

I have a 2019 Dell XPS which I've been using for the past 5 years. It's been a great laptop. Granted, the motherboard did break down after 3 years and I had to get it replaced, but the laptop has been great overall. It's been pretty reliable.

Terrible after sales service

bought a dell 3520 just over a month ago and not charging property. so call the team from dell and they claim accidental damage. whatever that means. will never buy another dell or suggest anyone I know to buy one. terrible after sales service

Low quality products

Low quality products, support is non existent (they do not answer calls, do not reply to emails). Business corporation is filed with problems. They antagonize customers and partners. Block sales of their crappy hardware. Stay away from this brand, its one of the lowest quality on the market.

Received the used computer claiming was new

On March 16, I placed an order with Costco.com for a brand new Dell computer on March 19. I received a used computer showing a service tag number on the box showing it went under remote repairs from September to December 2024Costco is claiming that the computer was mailed to me from Dell and Dell was responsible for this

Punished for patience

Ordered several items during the Black Friday deals. When you purchase multiple items, all of them arrive on the latest delivery date. Waited over a month and after Christmas to get an email saying the entire order had been cancelled. Called to investigate as nobody actually spoke to me and found that it was because one item was now unavailable. Displeased, but asked for the rest of the order. Dell refused to honor the original cost with the offer and my Dell points. Repeatedly bounced from Sales to Customer Service until one agent said they would attempt to get the order live again and to wait for a call back. Not been contacted since. I honestly feel like being patient with the arrival hurt me and could have cost me an extra £200. I got my partners birthday presents elsewhere. We used to be Alienware for life.

I can`t understand why the reviews is…

I can`t understand why the reviews is such low here at TP. I used to buy plenty of dell`s technology and yet never complained about it. Of course, you gotta know that certain lines of their product are better than others, especially concerning how good, their PC and laptops are, though still, I have no idea what happened to people, why so much complains about one of the most quality computer brand

2 Techs 3 calls less than 14 days

I called them because my new laptop Dell G15 5530, was having a bad fan it was super loud and vibrated my whole desk! a tech came out and replaced it but after they left the system could no longer see my GPU? So i had to go through the tech support system AGAIN! they then came and had to replace the mother board because the GPU and motherboard are connected, a few hours after they left Windows Deactivated and it gave me the activate windows watermark. I was like "wait what?" so i called them again and the conclusion, solution they have is to reinstall by Operating system and wipe my PC. this all happened in under 14 days.

Honestly my worst customer experience.

Monitor arrived with massive hole in the box, the damage making its way to the last bit of bubble wrap on the screen. Thought I’d try see if it works regardless, it gets a power light but nothing else, no OSD, nothing. I start a live chat to get help, I get passed around a few people, then the last person told me to hold on and I never got a response back after asking if they were still there.Created a technical support call, got told it was for customer care due to the damaged box / internal damaged to item and closes the call. Called customer care next day, get told as the screen isn’t damaged it’s not for them it’s for technical support so I can’t return / replace and must do live troubleshooting but only between 8-5 weekdays only, i work 8-6 weekdays… I asked if they can send me the questions / troubleshooting steps so I can try them when I’m home and send them email with my answers, nope can’t do that, eventually convince them to send me an email with some things for me to try. Never got that email… I noticed from the live chat a 2nd support call was created and they had asked if I still needed help. I replied yes with a list of everything I had tried and what had happened so far, I chased each day but got no response for 3 days. Each night spent 2+ hours googling and trying fixes myself. Nothing worked and no help from Dell. Looked into it further and turns out I can just request a return contrary to what dell support had told me earlier. Started a return but can only drop off weekdays 8-5 again… book off a day off work and take it to the only drop off location in miles of me. It’s a tiny convenience store and I obviously get turned away and cannot return as they have no where to store it. Call up dell as I have 2 days left to return the monitor and cannot come back tomorrow to try return again as I have work and have made plans so I don’t have a wasted day off work just to return a monitor. After being passed around to 3-4 different people for 30 mins get told to drive to another convenience store miles away, no I booked the day off I’m not driving round North Yorkshire all day until I find a corner shop with space that’ll take my return. It’s massive they are all obviously going to turn me away. I ask if it’s possible to get it picked up from my house, yes! Finally something going my way. Spell out my address letter by letter, oh it’s an apartment? Leave it in reception so they can collect it. It doesn’t have a reception? Then they can’t collect it from you……. Ridiculous! They are too lazy to ring my apartment and wait 10 seconds for me to walk down a single flight or stairs?! Fine I can get it picked up from my parents house. I drive an hour at 6am a couple days later and drop it off at my parents before work for someone to pick up that day. I end up buying the monitor again (cheapest by £200 if I bought elsewhere) and it worked first time when I plugged it in. But from this experience I will not be buying from Dell again, as if there is an issue, it is a nightmare to resolve, customer service is horrific.

Worst service..i have a laptop which…

Worst service..i have a laptop which got some motherboard problem..the service guy cameIt worked only for 11 hours and again got the same motherboard issue. I mean like whyShould improve....and now that same guy fixed the problem but now i have a new issue..its build quality is trash..that stupid plastic quality Stop buying dell laptopi have a dell inspiron 15...Worst i can say.
