Review of eventbrite
Purchased tickets through Eventbrite in November 2019 for event in May 2020, event put back due to covid, The organizer now ceased trading due to covid collapse but informed us that we are legally entitled to a refund. Eventbrite are refusing to refund. Their site doesn't provide any means of contact other than refund application. No one answers phone.Blatant rip off company
Review of booking
Sent me a confirmation email with no pin code and I can't find any way of remedying this. Minimal customer support and I am essentially left with no way of being able to modify my booking. Currently contacting the venue itself which is what I plant to do in future without a unresponsive middle man

Review of bol
Dont really understand the low ratings. I have used bol for years and everything including the customer service has been perfect. The issues that are mentioned here are not a mistake from Bol. Sometimes the courier makes your stuff lost then whats wronf with Bol? Bol is definitely one of the best companies that exists both in terms of platform and disipline.

Review of parallels
excellent always, the update installed flawlessly and has given faultless integration between MacOS, Windows XP and Windows 10 since. The ability to copy and paste easily between apps within and outside Windows is invaluable, and so far I have found very few Windows programs that cannot be installed - and only ones that are trivial, such as freeware games. Overall an unbelievably smooth experience.
Review of Bing
I have come to hate Bing. No matter what I search for it takes me to a multitude of shopping sites that I have no interest in and forces me to page though to sites that bear no resemblance to what I'm after. I do research for scientific issues and as a search engine its next to worthless

Review of abebooks
I am in medical school, and I proactively ordered a textbook from Abebooks almost two weeks before classes started. Well, textbooks I had ordered elsewhere came, but I never received my order from Abebooks. Classes started, and I still had not received my textbook (from seller Ergodebooks). I also never got tracking once Abebooks website said that my order had shipped. I contacted the seller and asked where my package was. I endured multiple, protracted emails asking me to verify my address and stating the book should arrive (up to three weeks after I had ordered it). Well, I waited, and waited, and waited...Nothing. I contacted the seller and Abebooks on the final day that the book was supposed to arrive, according to the seller, and I was told that the book was still supposed to arrive. It did not. I contacted them again and told them that I had still not received my package; they asked to verify my address. I did. They told me that I should have already had the book. They asked me to wait while they conducted an investigation with their logistics carrier. I waited and was asked if I wanted a replacement or a refund. Needing the book still, I asked for a replacement. Big mistake! I was supposed to get shipping info when the replacement package shipped. I never received the tracking information, despite waiting for another week. I sent multiple emails to the seller and Abebooks stating that I had not gotten the replacement shipment and that I now wanted a refund (my prof said that I could use an older edition of the book that was more readily available). I was informed today that they want to conduct another investigation with their logistics carrier! No apology for their terrible service, nothing. They also never stated that they would refund my money, as requested. It has now been over one month since I placed my order. They took my money, and I have not received anything except late and long canned emails. I will never order from them again! If anybody is thinking of using them, do not unless you have money to throw away!P.S. Update: I was issued a refund promptly by Abebooks after not receiving my replacement shipment. Lesson: Abebooks might be honest, but beware of the vendors (like Ergodebooks)!
