Beware of Difficulty of Cancelling Auto-renewal

As I do each year at the end of the subscription when I receive notice of auto-renewal, I cancel auto-renewal as I don't like paying full price each time. Once cancelled I get better renewal offers. This year I attempted to cancel and was offered a lower price. I refused the offer and continued to try and cancel auto-renewal. Each time, 2Checkout (Bitdefender's pay system) said that cancelling my renewal was not possible, which is illegal. I then had to go through many windows on a browser to get to support whereby I could chat with a Bitdefender rep who did cancel my auto-renewal. It's a very poor and terrible business practise to make it so difficult to cancel auto-renewal of a subscription.Update: Bitdefender replies below that I can manage my auto renewal options from within my central account or by creating an account with their pay processor. I tried both. First I tried the renewal option in my Central account and it forwarded me to the pay processor. The renewal cancel option was there as described but it refused to cancel.

Good protection but slows pc down quite…

Good protection but slows pc down quite a bit. Billing is a nightmare two years in a row I've tried and tried to cancel auto renewal but it never works. Will be using someone else from now on as just don't trust the central to do what you ask it too. Also seem to have had two different products running on some families devices even though they were removed and the new product installed.

Renewal payment made but renewal not happened

Payment for my automatic renewable of Bitdefender Mobile Security for Android was paid by credit card using Google Play Services on 19 December 2023. Yet my software has not renewed. I spoke to Customer Support and replied by email, as requested, showing proof of payment. I have received no response to that email nor to a follow-up email sent recently.Bitdefender, where is my money? Why did the automatic renewal not activate? Customer Support Reference: 1008927211

Hello Bitdefender, bye bye ESET.

After 11 good years with ESET, they started charging $20/hr. for limited tech support. When my computer finally died under a blue screen, it was bye bye ESET, hello Bitdefender. I spent hours trying to install Bitdefender Antivirus into a new Lenovo gaming computer, fitted with its own puny Windows Defender AV. An Xbox app was blocking the install update. I restarted it and changed settings, to no avail. Finally, I called Bitdefender’s free 24/hr tech support. No annoying robots here! A rep named Emma walked me through my settings, advised several fixes, and got the install to work seamlessly, the true definition of GENIUS! She also sent me links to Bitdefender’s (free) 100+ page user‘s guide PDF, online user‘s groups, and other helpful information, to ensure that I’ll be able to utilize the software to its full capacity. Bitdefender is a full-featured antivirus, with 24/7 access to expert tech support for impatient dummies like me. What more can one ask for?

In computer it work well

In computer it work well. But there is problem when use it in Android fone , can't open internet Banking in Thailand. Have to uninstall it there. My be there can be a way to fix that...and I will install it again.
