Review Time
It's a good product and it's affordable. Works well. Only complaint I have is that I purchased the yearly subscription. Usually, most things like that will send you an email that says "hey. It's almost time to auto renew. Just fyi" but they don't. They just charge your account without notice. So keep the date on your calendar. Otherwise you might be out that money you weren't planning on being gone. They were good about refunding the money to me though, as I had sold the laptop it was on and no longer needed it. Would recommend, but I wish they would send some sort of notification reminding you they will charge your account.
Just renewed. Had to query something through customer support but that was dealt with very quickly and effectively. The main thing I like about Bitdefender is that they are consistent with their pricing and don't just use introductory offers to lure you in to then massively increase the cost at renewal. All good really.
You can never be too safe on the internet, having easy to use applications that are up to date with the latest technology is piece of mind. Blocking ads and trackers hackers and virus's that can cause harm to your info. Bitdefender's customer service is caring and knowledgable if you do have any problems. 24/7 even on Holidays.
Despite Bitdefender's claim that it's easy to cancel the autorenew option (which seemed to be required when I initially purchased the software), it is virtually impossible to cancel the autorenew. I had to search through various parts of the website to find the steps do it, and then numerous steps and several attempts were required to actually do it. This is a sleezy way of trying to get people to keep buying the product, it's disrespectful to customers, and its an unethical business practice. I'm already pissed off, and I'm a brand new customer. Regardless of how good the product might be (I don't know yet), this nasty experience is likely to make me not renew this purchase.
Hands down, the best customer service, very capable, diligent people (5 Stars). There are some software glitches evident in the product as i found my firewall disabled, my password disabled and yet the system vulnerability was reporting the system as SAFE. Mostly works fine but there must be a vulnerability that enables password to be disabled. I have only found this issue on my laptop that i use for gaming, no other of my 10 installations have suffered this issue. (3 stars)
Can't find the stinking goddamn update. I'm searching all over the place. every time I click on something I get another accept cookies spam. Just give me a stupid button to click. This sucks so bad, I will probably not renew when it comes up. I'm not a goddamn nerd. and it took forever to get to this review. If you keep up a can't get in actual touch with anybody your company will loose customers and get a stupid reputation. FIX THE CRAP! And I'm still NOT UPDATED!!!
Excellent quality customer service. Helped from reporting potential fraud from someone claiming to be from bitdefender. Helped with legitimate purchase and installation. Helped with refund as charged more than website terms. Product bought today so unable to comment about it but looks good 👍
