A supplier of junk software. Crapped all over my excellent excellent screening software supplied free to family users which has successfully protected my family from dangerous and destructive internet sites, and without even telling me! But it threw up a load of false 'warnings' about sites like my GPs surgery! Help desk personnel are sarky and ineffective, Set you on endless goose chases about the problem but don't respond when you provide them the info they requested. The brilliant help desk of my screening software, OPENDNS provided me with detailed analysis and showed how BITDEFENDER's VPN was subverting their screening software and even causing multiple DNS leaks. A waste of the high subscription charges.
I regret to say that my experience with Bitdefender has been nothing short of a nightmare. After an unauthorized automatic renewal, I have persistently reached out for a refund, only to be met with silence and automated responses. There's a basic expectation of decency and responsiveness in customer service, especially concerning financial issues, that Bitdefender has utterly failed to meet. It feels like a scam when a company takes your money and then ignores your pleas for assistance. I am giving a 1-star rating because the system doesn't allow for zero stars. Be warned and proceed with caution if you're considering Bitdefender—your legitimate concerns might also be ignored.
Great product met with great service! There was a billing issue that took sometime to resolve as I was raising the issue with their partner. Moment, the issue was directed to Bitdender - it was solved within no time. Apart from this - the product is superb! I trust Bitdefender :)
I like all the features especially anomaly detection. Behaviour-based analysis is definitely one of the best ways to stay safe out there. One note though, Bitdefender threat hunters should do a deep dive into the shopping app Temu. My friend recommended it to me so i downloaded it. Immediately after researched it further and there are multiple allegations of spyware and malware installation. Not to mention forced labor sourced goods. Luckily i didnt give any personal information besides my name and number which are both public already. However, after i uninstalled it i started using bitdefender and got a clean report but apps such as maps, messages, and others keep crashing. Im worried something was left behind. I am monitoring my connections for anything suspicious but thought you all might want to see what you can find with the resources you have available. Might be getting a clean review because its not in the threat DB. Love the Bitdefender mobile security app and great 1st year pricing plan. Free trial with no card sign up is 🤌
What made my experience excellent with Bitdefender is its Customer Service, and their product's Machine Learning Capabilities. Anything malicious? The AI of Bitdefender product would detect it very quickly. False positive on the suspected product? Or false negative on the suspected product? Their Customer Service is there to help you. I do not have any issues with them. If you are looking for a Cybersecurity for your family, or business, Bitdefender is to recommend.
Who are these people that give BF 5 stars? How can I and many others be having so many problems while others love it? The answer is they are frauds! But here is my issue; why is it that everytime I try to logon to the BF website, my password is ALWAYS WRONG? I religiously document them yet its always wrong. So I click "forgot pw" and I enter the same pw that it just told me was wrong, but it accepts it and lets me in? Is it because they jump on the bandwagon because every website does that to force their customers to always change their passwords?
