As I do each year at the end of the subscription when I receive notice of auto-renewal, I cancel auto-renewal as I don't like paying full price each time. Once cancelled I get better renewal offers. This year I attempted to cancel and was offered a lower price. I refused the offer and continued to try and cancel auto-renewal. Each time, 2Checkout (Bitdefender's pay system) said that cancelling my renewal was not possible, which is illegal. I then had to go through many windows on a browser to get to support whereby I could chat with a Bitdefender rep who did cancel my auto-renewal. It's a very poor and terrible business practise to make it so difficult to cancel auto-renewal of a subscription.Update: Bitdefender replies below that I can manage my auto renewal options from within my central account or by creating an account with their pay processor. I tried both. First I tried the renewal option in my Central account and it forwarded me to the pay processor. The renewal cancel option was there as described but it refused to cancel.
