Ripped me off for an extra year's subscription after I cancelled. No way to communicate with them, except using their own platform. And ... I deleted my account, so no way to communicate with them at all. Interestingly, First Direct credit card wouldn't reverse the charge either - they were demanding proof - which is impossible to get ... as I've deleted my account. I'm sure LassPass know *exactly* how all these systems work - so, I don't think this set-up is by accident.
Do not do business with this company!!!!! I am registered in my account as a free user but they take money from your credit card every year as if you were a premium customer. I have tried to cancel my subscription in writing, with customer service, but they refuse to explicitly state that your subscription has been terminated. Even if you send a screenshot of your credit card payment, they simply do not respond to it, let alone give you a refund. I have repeatedly explicitly asked them to confirm that: 1. my subscription has been terminated and 2. that they will no longer take money from my credit card. But every time you have to do something or respond, without confirmation that your subscription has been terminated. This is 'by far' the most customer unfriendly company I have ever encountered.
Password recovery is an endless loop of unhelpful advice that resolves nothing, and verification emails that take hours to arrive, so the whole thing takes forever - and then it doesn't really work.I'm deleting the service - even though I'll lose all the passwords on there, it'll be easier to reset them one by one as I use them, than wallow in the morass of their customer service.
Hello everyone, I trust you are all having a wonderful day/night. this may be a stupid question, but if you are able to login to your LastPass account, why would you need to talk to support about not being able to log into your account? :yes that is correct, in order to contact customer support about not being able to log in to LastPass, you first must log in, not so fast there hotrod, are you trying to ask the community for help (because you are unable to login to ask "customer support"), that's correct, you must first log in to ask the community as well. WOW! what a great idea. let me just put all my passwords, notes, phone numbers, emails, contacts, etc. in this one little "easy to access across all your devices platform: and don't forget to install the authenticator app and we will CONSTANTLY spam you with pop-ups until you do, even if you have it turned off/blocked. This was the worst idea I have followed through with since, I decided to cook on an outdoor grill in negative degree weather(ND, Williston) I would give a half star if allowed.
Lastpass is stoling our money for 2 years!We used Lastpass for years and after the disaster occours with the stoled passwords we changed.Till now passed 2 years and they are contiuing collecting money from our credit card without the possiblity, by our side, to delete the account.I tried contacting them in several ways without success, crazy!
I have used Lastpass for several years without any need to contact customer support. When I explained my issue on my phone, I was told to call back after I tried Lastpass on my laptop. I called back and got the same tech. He told me to do the things I had already done before I contacted support such as delete and reinstall app. After I told him I already did that, he said call back in 15 minutes and hung up
It's been OK for a few years, but it's been asking for logins a lot more than in the past. Just a long password. Then it doesn't enter the password on the first try most of the time. It got sold a few years ago and I should have known what was going to happen -- some private equity company bought it, ran up the price, lost a few good programmers and now it's (wait, I have to use a nicer word) "not as good as it used to be.I've used it with Brave for years, it stopped working. I waited 14 days, doesn't work most of the time.I asked if they had an issue, no they don't. "We don't support Brave". I asked for a refund, sorry no refunds.Oh well. The reviews tell a story -- I'm not the only angry user.
