After opening a free account in order to find articles for my studies, I started getting emails from Academia.edu claiming that there has been new research published that contains my name or references my publications. It's been entirely random and very obviously fake information (e.g. foreign universities, publications in other languages, areas of research that have nothing to do with me, but first and foremost because I have no publications online that could be referenced by other researchers). Of course, they won't let me see any details without signing up for a paid account. This is such an obvious and blatant lie to lure people in to pay money, it meets the legal definition of a fraud. This service has no right to operate in the .edu domain and should be shut down as scammers they are.

I unknowingly activated Domestika Plus and at the end of the month I was charged about €313 for a year. First of all, the quality and content is not worth so much. Second of all, no one can help me with a refund nor a payment plan since I cannot pay for this at the moment. And as you can see below, they respond with information that is not helpful to my situation. I've already contacted costumer service several times.

I've purchased ink for my HP Photosmart 7520. Got it at Walmart. I replaced all the ink but the black cartridge showed there wasn't ink in the cartridge. I called Walmart and was told I opened it and would need to call HP. Called HP customer service (I use that jokingly), I was told it was a Walmart issue. I didn't want to mess with it, so I went to Best Buy. I had to order the black because they didn't have any in stock. Same thing happened. I have only managed to run the estimated level print report twice and now I am almost out of the other ink as well and haven't got to use my printer. Best buy doesn't take ink cartridges back that have been opened either. How do you know the product is good if you don't open it and put it into your printer? I am out about $150 dollars. I am going to replace my HP with Cannon so I can actually have a printer that prints. I loved my HP printer but getting ink now or trusting HP products and their customer service is a joke! Hopefully in time HP will also feel the repercussions of bad product and service. This all occurred in Nov and Dec 2023

Absolute horrendous customer service, and poor quality parts. I had a b250h gaming motherboard die randomly overnight within warranty. I had to email asus for almost 6 months just to get the truth out of them. (that they couldnt be bothered to diagnose what went wrong with the motherboard). Also lied to me about a repair fee that they later informed me the board is unrepairable. Honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. -5 star will never buy again.
