EA's customer service is actually helpful

My EA account was hacked and stolen recently. I contacted their customer support through their online chat, but I wasn't expecting much to be honest. However I have to say I was pleasantly surprised this time. The wait time was less than five minutes (between 8:00 - 9:00 am) and after answering a few questions and completing the verification process my account was fully restored. The whole process took about 20 minutes.

BBC Look North with Peter LeveyI have found I cannot email Mr. Levey with constructive criticisms - there is always a problem and 'he can't get them'. What a shock!. He appears to only like the 'nice ones'.He continually looks bored or grumpy. He interviewed a lovely man organising an event the other evening it was dire. He seems to spend most of the programme's self-promoting or trying to let the bosses think he is popular/invaluable,!!??!!He has had a really good innings and I feel as a life-long licence payer (that would make me one of the many people that pay his wages) that it is about time to let one or more of the team have a go on the red sofa. I do not think this is unreasonable - the programme is so tired looking. Love Paul Hudson - the weather. Christian, Simon and Dave Edwards would be suitable replacements. There is a plethora of lovely female presenters to choose from too. Love Claire Frisby in the morning too. I am just saying - something to think about.

Gave this app another shot after deleting it for having to many glitches it felt as if I was getting a virus through the app my phone started to glitch ALOT but when I managed to delete it completely it started working just fine I’m not sure what was causing it to act that way but when I dowloaded it again it happened AGAIN 😡😡

I now officially hate their website

I now officially hate their website. I will no, and I mean it, will no longer visit their website due the amount of ATT&T ads before every viewable video story. Every time that ad pops up I now slick off the story or mute it if I'm really interested until the story starts. It happens for every single story! By the time you get to the story, I'm ticked off, I lose interest, and often have to repeat the video after my mind has calmed down or after I turn mute off as I've missed the beginning of the story.

BOL takes the seller side

I recently had a very bad experience with BOL. I purchased a Nespresso coffee machine, and on day 30, I decided to return it as it was not functioning as expected. Instead of processing a refund, the seller chose to repair it. When I requested a refund, BOL took the seller's side, stating that the item was sold by a partner seller and not directly by BOL despite the fact it was clearly stated (30 days to change mind" . I had always found the only value in shopping with BOL to be the buyer protection offered for the first 30 days. Now, they've allowed the seller to make the final decision. I no longer see any value in using BOL. NEVER AGAIN! the giant amazon is the best against stupid local company

Selling broken items as B-stocks and brand new items.

I ordered a B-stock bass from Thomann. The description mentioned that the bass "may have slight traces of use". It was not a problem for me at all, until it turned out that the truss rod doesn't work at all. I don't need a non-functioning bass, so I sent it back. I was negatively surprised that such a company didn't check the bass before sending it or sent it broken on purpose.Some time later I noticed they were selling another B-stock of this exact model, so I gave them a second chance. It was also decribed as "may have slight traces of use". Unfortunately they sent me a bass with a large paint chipping on the headstock which clearly doesn't match "may have slight traces of use". It was not broken during transport, because there was no chippings inside the bag. There was also no multi-tool which is normally sold together with the bass.I'm highly disappointed by their actions. They are trying to sell broken items with false statement or they just don't care about checking items before sending them.EDIT: I wrote to them about these situations and they offered to send me a brand new bass for the previously paid price for a B-stock. I agreed to that and they sent me a bass but it was not brand new as it supposed to be. It was actually the worst of the three I have received even though it supposed to be brand new. There are sharp endings of the frets, there are cuts on the fretboard's wood (between the frets), the bridge is installed in a way that made it almost impossible to set up a proper intonation, the foil on the pickups has been already peeled off which is evident from the air between it and the pickups. Also, the pickups' screws are visibly used improperly (lack of black paint on them and damaged slots). I will never buy anything in Thomann again.

Review of lyft

Bad customer service and unreliable drivers.

I ordered and said 20 mins. They made me wait for 20 and then the teacker said the driver will arrive in 3 mins. 10 mins passed and no driver xome.to pick me up. I message the driver after waiting for 10 mins and I can see him not moving at all. I asked if he is coming and he said the roads are bad. I messaged him again and asked if he is coming. No response. So rude! They cancelled the ride and said they will find another driver. I waited for another 10.mins no driver. They cancelled again and said they will send another one and they cancelled again. What kind of service is that? I called UBER instead and they came after 7 minutes and no problem coming and driving in a weather like we have yesterday. This is winter if they are scared of winter driving they shouldn't be driving at all and offering service. Stay home LYFT and UBER will save us.

Great content but extremely hard to unsubscribe

The Economist's content is excellent. It's the business end of the undertaking that is disgraceful. After a failed delivery I was promised a replacement. It never arrived. I recontacted them. It still didn't arrive. I tried to cancel my subscription. Very hard to do. I waited for 59 minutes in a chat queue (the only way to cancel) and then, when I persisted in wanting to cancel, the chat screen became unresponsive and I was sent back to the queue (with 32 people waiting). Disgraceful behaviour and I see, on-line, that this had happened to other subscribers. Later in the day, with many people still in the cancellation queue i tried the "change subscription" option and guess what: I got though straight away ... but was flicked to the cancellation team, again for another long wait, without a result. Like Hotel California: you can never leave.

Go to ASOS or any other supplier instead of the main website.

Wasted a lot of time and effort going on backorder for the item to go back and be cancelled, then come back into stock on the sale, to then speak to an agent to be told to order it again now it was in stock... for it to be backordered and cancel out.Basically - go to ASOS, avoid the main website sales at all costs.
