Onboarding Session with GetResponse

I had a 1-hour onboarding session and it was very beneficial for me. Adam Lezon did a great job explaining the key features and tailored the session to the topics that I had wanted covered. He was also attentive and expertly responded to all my questions. Adam also suggested resources that I can follow up on for topics that we didn't have time to cover. He even raised a tech support ticket for an issue with my newsletters so they can look into possible causes.I am very happy that I took the onboarding session. Special thanks to Adam too for making the 1 hour full of useful info for me.Highly recommended.

I needed some new kicks and I buy only New Balance because of their width. I was helped by a kind gentleman in the store on Kearny street where he got the right size from inside even though the place was super busy. The shoes are great but I was super surprised by the service at a busy location of a discount store!

The content serves as a decent primer

The content serves as a decent primer, akin to an introductory lecture that's useful but won't substitute for a deep dive into more advanced topics. More comprehensive coverage would be welcome.

Hopeless

Who are this organisation working for the public or the government? Even 5 years ago they were reasonably accurate, but things have changed recently. The so called forecasts transition sometimes within hours to completely different! How can people who rely on the weather for their livelihoods trust such a service.May be that is the intention.Avoid, just look out of the window and accept this lot are no longer fit for purpose

McAfee installed a hidden program then ransomed my computer

McAfee installed a hidden program aka virus aka trojan on my Mac that constantly notified me that it was infected with hidden viruses. Mind you, I never, knowingly, installed anything from McAfee.McAfee notifications came at least once an hour, whether I was on the net or not. When I clicked on the notification, I was immediately taken to McAfee's site in order to purchase the software need to remove the "McAfee virus".I tried to ignore the "McAfee virus", but soon my Mac got goofy to the point where I had to use the Time Machine (Mac backup) to reinstall everything.I think what McAfee is doing is against the law...adding a virus, then ransoming my computer by making me buy their software.I documented everything with screenshots. I plan to send this to the FCC and any other appropriate agency.

lets do this without bias

lets do this without bias. basically this thing is so INCOVENIENT like an old 2007 shit. 1. imagine not being able to turn off protection more than 1h.2. no option to restore quarantined file and whitelist it in 1 go3. to whitelist a file, we have to find the file manually and the explorer tab is actually so bad, it cant use alt+d or write the directory directly. you HAVE to go to this pc > open folder one by one for files which is usually deep inside such ass C:/user/appdata/windows/microsoft/roaming/etc/etc/etcsuch SHIT QoL and this thing is PAID? u gotta be shitting me

My Tesla model X wasn’t charging at home. I brought it to Plano service center and was told that nothing wrong with the car charging port or my home charger. I took the recommendation of having my electrical work at home checked out. I paid electrician $500 to change the breaker, wires, outlet but nothing fixed the problem. After back and forth with another service center, I got a new home charger and the problem was resolved. Had they recommended that solution of changing to the gen 3 charger first, I would have saved a lot of time, money, and above all the inconvenience.

Review of salesforce

Avoid at all costs - Mis-selling to lock you into an iron-clad contract seems to be their business m

Tl;dr: Avoid at all costs. Look at pay monthly solutions like Monday, Zoho CRM or anything other than Salesforce.Salesforce platform was mis-sold to us. It turns out we need very expensive enterprise features to carry out basic tasks such as integrating invoicing, Stripe products and ecommerce. We purchased the professional license with the API add-on, the latter was promised to enable those required features to be integrated, but it turns out Salesforce either outright lied or their agents misinformed about the platforms capabilities. Also multiple features are broken out of the box - such as integration with outlook, our VOIP phone system Salesforce app no longer works (our phone company says it's a Salesforce issue, and they can't fix it - Salesforce support said it's a 3rd party app on their app platform, and is nothing to do with them).Support takes weeks to get back to you once you've signed the contract - prior to signing they were extremely responsive, multiple meetings and same day replies were no issue. Advice if you're set on going with them, make sure you get everything in place, tested and confirmed BEFORE you sign off on anything. If they insist you need a contract before you can use certain features pull the plug immediately and go with another platform. We are now stuck on a 24 month contract for a service that doesn't work for our business. Settling to close the account will cost thousands $.

No File Explorer or Finder integration

No File Explorer or Finder integration. Inflexible all-or-nothing approach . Slow. Can't view or share files from backup.I can't even get mine set up, there's loads of problems and customer service never got to the bottom of any of it despite many snotty emails from them telling me 'it's simple, follow these 348585746523 steps and fix it yourself' it's horrible and I wish I hadn't paid for 2 years because it's pointless and I have no control of it and can't look at my back ups or file things as I want. I'm pretty certain I actually have no back up at all despite paying for the last 9 months.also worth noting: Backblaze’s simple functions limit it as just a simple computer backup service.Subscription is limited to one computer per account only.If you are using a private password and you forgot it, the data in your subscription is permanently locked without any chance for retrieval.Previous versions of your file only last up to 30 days before it is erased.Mobile applications cannot be used to sync files with your account.
