Garbage products, garbage support, garbage company.We sold dictation Software, can't download that version anymore, we are forced to upgrade. Last time we sold any of Philip's products, we prefer companies that do clean business and keep the ressources to their products - even if outdated - around. The customer paid for their licenses, it's not your right nor your decision to force an upgrade.
Totally concur with all the negative reviews on here. Smart tv stopping connecting to wif fi. Was told it needed a software update and this would be sent on a memory stick. It never was so did it myself. Few months later stopped connecting again. Told software was up to date and tv needed reinstalling. Did this but it made no difference. Said he would call me back to check. He never did. Called them again to be told the problem was their server affecting many tvs and it was being worked on and the tv would eventually be re-connected. This sounded a load of bull as there was nothing about any such problem on their website nor anything on the web in general about it. Needless to say it is still not connecting many days later. Seem the phone operators either don't know what they are talking about or just tell liesSent am email complaining. Just a standard reply saying it will be looked into. Then unsurprisingly nothing.I am surprised that a reputable long established company such as Philips provides such shocking after sales support when most companies - apart from the always awful Currys / PC World - usually provide excellent support these days. Also most companies have a feedback survey after every interaction with them, is it just a coincidence Philips don't?Only solution is to never purchase any of their products ever again.
The Philips Sonicare Diamond Clean Classic Rechargeable toothbrush is a bad product. At close to $200, it lasts about 16 months before breaking down. The battery can't charge and it can't be replaced. Philips won't honor the warranty so at $200 less than every 2 years, this product is super a rip off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNETHICAL COMPANY.
AVOID PHILIPS ANY DEVICE!!!First TV Philips Ambilight purchased in 2005 works great till Today, 2nd one SMART TV purchased in 2010 works great till Today. Then Chinese bought Philips and since then only name left and my problem started. Purchased Lumea in 2009 for my wife for 600 GBP, shaver Series 9000 I paid 360 GBP and vacuum beard trimmer I paid 149,99 GBP, and another Philips TV ambilight Android I paid 2200GBP and brought to the UK from Austria. Lumea stopped working after 3 months-battery was dead, shaver after 2 years-battery was dead, and beard trimmer lasted 1 year and 1 month-battery was dead. Now the best: last TV worth 2200 GBP stopped working 2 weeks after the warranty expired. Contacted Equinox-an official service partner of Philips. Without coming and seeing the TV they communicated me to dispose it as it cannot be fixed, no parts exists. In the end I fixed it MYSELF two days ago, although I am not an engineer but biochemist. BEWARE PEOPLE Philips is a piece of junk, do not waste money
My wife purchased a Philips Lumea Precision Plus hair removal system 3 years ago costing £300. It worked fine until this week when it did not work at all,the built in rechargeable battery was dead it will not charge!! I contacted Philips online and explained the problem and asked where I could purchase a replacement battery.I was told that you cannot replace the battery, once the battery is dead the removal system is useless and because it was now out of warranty you need to buy another and to throw it in the bin. I did explain that this was not mentioned any where in the user guide and was not given any explanation !! All they offered was a voucher for 25% off my next online purchase. What a total rip off, battery dies so unit cannot be repaired pathetic, what a waste of money so do yourself a favour and do not buy this product
Do not ever purchase from Philips. Biggest mistake of my life. I returned a product to them and it has been over a month and they have still not given me my refund. They said the money is pending. What a complete lie. Then they weren’t sure if they could find the returned product in the warehouse and I had to show proof of postage. Customer service is disgusting. Don’t ever buy from them!!!!!
can I leave no stars? they have to worst customer service going and there warranty and support team what a joke that is do your self a favor never by a Philips anything there customer service is useless and will do nothing to help and then they will refuse to allow to file a complaint against them never buy Philips anything
