Warning to anyone buying any Phillips products. Once they have your money you will be treated like you never existed ever. Their customer service email system will immediately tell you that they are closing your file because they have not heard from you. Their auto respond service is set for you not to receive any service from them. When you speak to them on the service line they'll tell you to send a photo of your purchase and details of the problem then when you do this it automatically says they are closing your complaint! This went on for over a month even through repeated phone calls and emails. Then their manager hung up on my call.
Awful! Just truly dreadful. The OLED TV had really bad lipsync problems and the picture has nasty blocky artefacts around any objects the move against the background (basically any TV you want to watch.Isn't that the point of TV, moving pictures?! If you wanted a picture you'd hang a picture. But you bought a TV, hoping to watch TV, ie moving pictures. And you really wanted the sound to come at the same time as the picture - like it looks as if the person on the screen really is doing the talking, instead of being a very badly out of time ventriloquist's dummy.)Their customer 'service' is a whole different level, truly the very worst ever. They dismiss anything you tell them and they somehow make it out to be YOUR problem, the customer's problem.Don't buy an OLED TV costing £1000+ from them, it is money down the drain. Avoid, avoid, AVOID!The Trustpilot score of 1.7 average is a perfect summary of just how badly Van Houten and Philips are. Remember, 1 star is the MINIMUM allowed, so just 0.7 is seriously bad. And most of the 5 star reviews look suspiciously odd - just like a bunch of employees tried to bump up the ratings to please Mr Van Houten. Always very suspicious when companies get bathtub shaped curves, mostly 1 star with almost no 3 or 4 star, but quite a lot of vague "I love Philips" type similar copycat (cut and paste?) reviews. But even the shills for Philips can raise the score more than 0.7 above the very pits - so bad is their customer 'care'. What a joke of a once great company which has now sunk so low.SHOCKINGLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Don’t ever buy from philips they lie having problems with my new 65inch tv we didn’t have tv tect in my area told them were moving too a different state and wait to see if tect were we move so i called philips back and a virus broke out not taking any calls on lockdown so when I finally got them on the phone give them my claim number oh your warranty ran out sorry we cant help I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM PHILIPS AGAIN
This company will ghost you when you try to make a warranty claim. They'll claim to be putting you in touch with a "specialist" within 24-48 hours after wasting 30-40 minutes of your time in chat or on the phone, only never to contact you.Philip's warranty is a scam. This company should be sued.
Can I leave 0 stars? Pretty disappointed. I’ve used Philips sonicare toothbrushes for over a decade and I’m about to leave the brand. I bought a Philips Sonicare 2 toothbrush in 2017 and in less than a year the rubber button was falling out and battery was having a hard time staying charged. So I was sent a replacement (within the ONLY 2 year warranty). The replacement has been fine up until the last month. The button has torn out of its home and the battery wont hold a charge at all anymore! I called and asked about a replacement and they said there was nothing they could do since it wasn’t in the 2 year warranty period. I was sent away with a 30% discount for a new toothbrush and that was it. The warranty should be longer for something with a lithium ion battery and Philips should have much better customer service policy for being such a highly profitable gigantic corporation. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Philips product ever again.
Bought a "programmable computer mouse". Philips doesn't provide the software to actually program it. So in essence I paid for a 5 button mouse but I can only really use 3 as per a standard $5 mouse. The product is built pretty shoddy. It has glowing lights which just highlight all the misalignment. This is made at the same quality as a $5 mouse but they charge $40. It was no weight to it either. When I tried to contact philips their email address was broken. Their twitter account responds but only under philips care, no other of their thousand account respond. Their website a collection of websites put together because their isolating each country for each other as if this was the 1990's. How their still in business is amazing? If your buying a cheap disposable product by all means choose philips. If you want the product to last and have a warranty then avoid. They have no care for their customers and after sales support is a big joke. If you really have no choice, get a 3rd party after sales warranty. Avoid computer related items at all costs.
