No battery replacement, no customer support awful

Absolutely appalling non-existent customer service. impossible to track down, use of bots, unintelligble websites. They expect you to throw away perfectly good objects once the rechargeable batteries won't recharge. No attempt to replace or restock the battery. Just incredible really given how much goes into landfill every year. Won't buy again.

Avoid Philips like the plague.

I bought a 65" 4k Phillips TV from Amazon. 11 months later and the back light on the screen failed. A faulty power board.Amazon directed me to Philips tech support. I was advised to reinstall the firmware via USB and reset the TV. I could install the firmware OK but needed a backlight for the tv to reset through the menus.When I chase them via email - Nothing!When I call - Sorry i cant tell you anything other than its being investigated.Its been 10 days since I had any instruction from Philips and its clear as day it needs a visit from an engineer.I asked to escalate. Apparently Philips dont have an escalation procedure. I asked for his manager. I was advised they dont have a manager on his floor. I asked for the person he answers too to ring me. Couldn't do that.The engineer didnt cover his mic up correctly and as clear as day he said "For gods sake". When questioned he advised his monitor fell over.So here I am, 10 days later with the case "Being investigated". I have never had such appalling after sales. Wont be buying any Philips product again and will certainly question any Amazon buys in the future where they cant assist with such issues.

DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS

DO NOT BUY THESE PRODUCTS! I purchased a 55in "smart" TV less than one year ago and for the last 3 months i have not been able to use any apps. I reached out to customer service and this was the worst experience EVER. The representative was combative and refused to let me speak with a manager or technician to challenge the results of their half assed product examination. This cheap mess should be off the market because it is not only unreliable but they refuse to replace the crap they KNOW is crap. I work too hard to earn my money to EVER give them another dime! Times are truly hard right now and i dont need this frustration for something that should have been simple. Im going back to SONY & SAMSUNG! At least i know i have both a quality product that will provide service that honors customers and not rip them off.

You got to make IFTTT step in line, they are ripping your customers off

I'm a fairly happy Philips Hue owner.The bulbs are fairly good (but quit expensive compared to other high end LED light bulbs)But they do work, and I have the chance to make fairly advanced home automation using IFTTT.But now all of a sudden, I have to pay IFTTT a monthly fee to use the service.What the FLICK, I bought the bulbs largely because of IFTTT, you advertise it on the box "IFTTT is a free service" I believe it says.You got to talk to IFTTT about this problem, and so do all of the other company's that supports IFTTT. As far as I know, you guys pay them money, so that you can put their stamp on your box. Hold them responsible, and keep them from trying to rip YOUR customers off by charging us a second time for what we already have paid for (when we shop Philips hue lights)

I cannot be more impressed that I have…

I cannot be more impressed than I have been in the customer service I’ve received by Philips in the last month. I had a problem with a facial hair trimmer as well as my electric toothbrush. Both coincidentally Philips products. I received replacement parts on both occasions with a few days - really fantastic service. Philips has become my first choice in electrical products from now on . Thankyou

Purchased two 65in television have had…

Purchased two 65in television have had the less than a year. One television stop working will not come on the other volume stopped working. Spoke with customer service about 4 months ago I was told someone would contact me to come out and service the televisions now 3 months have not heard from anyone and now can’t get help with customer service anymore. Will never purchase a Phillips product again and will never recommend.

for old Philips devices

Had a Philips TV, not Smart TV, that served us well for decades. On the other hand, we also had a Philips Video Player that cost quite a lot and did not last long. Customer service.. wasn't exactly stellar, but they tried.3 stars because the TV really did last loong with no problems!

Worst customer service I could imagine

Worst customer service I could imagine. Made the mistake of buying an airfryer from these incompetents, it didn’t work properly from day 1. Tried to return it for exchange, they will not offer refunds, and even getting an exchange is a nightmare. They just ignore your emails, phone calls and hope you go away. Wasted my time and energy, never again will I buy from Philips.

Not even a year before having problems with TV

Haven’t even had my TV for a year and the software on it keeps having problems. The loading screen with sometimes show up and the only way to get it to stop is to reset the TV. Probably the last Philips product I’ll buy.
