Was customer for years. They decided to open another account under my phone #. Did not shop for one year opened account again same thing no way of confirmation on orders so they shipped 2 of the items. Which cost you money. No wonder 🤔 they are in trouble with business Can't be trusted &won't cancel second account 😒
Amazon's business has been suffering lately. Here is one reason. When Amazon CA changed their shipping policy in Canada to require driving across town to a remote Purolator with some QR code instead of being able to print a label (even printing a Purolator label would be fine) it made it very difficult for a lot of Canadians to return products. As a result I cut my Amazon usage from about 45 orders every 3 months down to about 3 orders every 3 months plus canceling Amazon Prime. So they lost about 95% of my business. I wonder if a lot of other Canadians took their business elsewhere for the same reason. Not that we were the biggest part of their market, but it's perhaps indicative once a company starts taking their customer base for granted and no longer puts customers first, their growth is bound to do an about-face.
Fake products. Products that have been recalled. Products that don't meet local code requirements (electrical) and catch fire. Late shipments. Incorrect products received. Customer support that is impossible to reach and will take more than 3 times to provide a solution that is more that a canned (and not applicable) reply. That's the AMAZON guarantee! If I could rate lower than 1 star, I would. Do not recommend.
Placed an order of 4 items. The orders were to be delivered by Intelcom. Never got an email from Intelcom saying my package was on the way or saying when it was delivered like I usually do with them. Instead I only got a notification from Amazon saying my order was delivered and when I went outside nothing was there. Contacted Amazon right away and they told me blablabla if you haven't received it in 3 days come back the next day. After talking to their useless customer service I called Intelcom, stuck on hold for almost an hour before I got through. The guy I spoke with checked and saw that my package was delivered to the wrong address. He said that Amazon didn't include my email with my order which is why I didn't get any notifications from them and I asked if he could send me the photo showing that my package was delivered to the wrong address, which he did. After talking to them I contacted Amazon again and told them it was delivered to the wrong address and that I have the picture from Intelcom showing that it was. Again, they wouldn't do anything about it, just kept telling me to come back in 4 days. 4 days later I contact them AGAIN and told them AGAIN that my package was delivered to the wrong address. This is their exact response ''I apologize for the as trouble as you have not received your items. I am afraid to say that this is risk of loss. I am sorry but we are unable to provide any assistance for it''. The delivered my package to the wrong address and now I'm stuck paying for items that I didn't receive when I have photo proof showing it was delivered to the wrong house! I am done with Amazon! These pieces of trash will never get another dime from me!!! As soon as the return windows close on the Christmas presents I bought I am closing my account!
I would recommend staying away from amazon.ca. 9 out of 10 times my order arrives late, says they tried to deliver and no one was at home (i was there the entire day with the door open and security camera's going and no one came to my door). Items ordered say they will be delivered then all the sudden "we ran into issues" 5 min before the latest delivery time or my favorite just throw your package at the door like a ball. The customer service teams seems to not care at all and will do nothing to help you. The normal response it "just wait" give us/it 24 more hours or just flat out refuse to help.
I had so many experiences with this company. It is amazing, nothing wrong with it. 100% legit. Absolutely no scams. I am prime member of amazon.ca. I am really really surprised to see other people's negative reviews. I trust on Amazon.ca or amazon.com with my closed eyes.
Waited all day yesterday for my package. I got a guarntee delivery date. And by 10pm it will be here But Once 10pm rolled I still never got anything nor was the item even shipped yet The next morning my delivery date changed and now my new delivery date is a week from now . So much for guarantee delivery 🤦♀️ so annoying also in the past they kept charging me monthly for prime when I cancelled it numerous times they were still talking money out my bank until I had to delete my full bank card off their site only way they stopped charging.
I was in disbelief when customer service twice hung up the phone on me when I asked them for my refund back to my credit card as they lost my package for the 4th time. I can't believe I am writing this as I always thought their service was top-notch until today. The first time I ordered a package, it said it was 'undelivered' so I called them up and they gave me a gift balance to order it again. The second and third times, it was delivered to someone's home (They showed a picture of a home that wasn't mine). I submitted a report, added extra delivery instructions, and they assured me it will go to the right address this time. The fourth time, there was no picture and it said it was handed to a resident. When I received that notification, I immediately called them and said who did you give it to as it sure wasn't handed to me. They told me to wait 24 hours and then call back. When I did, they told me: "the unusually high number of lost orders that you have reported exceeds this occasional expectation". I kept saying I didn't receive the package and they basically called me a liar and hung up. Not once but twice. I called my credit card to report that transaction and disputing it with my credit card as I speak. The credit card company told me if they didn't ask me for a signature then there is no proof it was handed to me. The way they dealt with me was the worst way a company handles the situation. Never using AMAZON CANADA AGAIN.
Amazon is out of line and frankly not being careful regarding refunds.. I purchased a V4ink Drum over one year ago and was granted a refund. Amazon.ca sent the refund to a card that is no longer valid and no longer on Amazon.ca file. This is a total breach of banking security. I tried to sent an email directly to Amazon.ca notifying them regarding the change of banking information. No response. Their email did not even provide an actual telephone number or email address to allow customers to contact them directly. This is a company that makes it difficult for customers to communicate by telephone, email, chat etc..... Today, I get the phone call from Bank of Nova Scotia regarding money sent from Amazon.ca in the amount of $74. 56 in error. I no longer bank at the Bank of Nova Scotia!!!. They sent my money to a card that has not been on File for over one year with Amazon.ca and no one from Amazon or the system recognized this huge problem. I immediately tried to call Amazon today to notify the breach of banking information and that their system does not recognize. A billion dollar company has a anti fraud system in place and yet they don't recognize that the bank card is no longer on file ? Baloney. This is an issue of Arrogance and indifference to the customers with the unwillingness to recognize customer service. Banking information is changed all the time..yet I have to jump hoops trying to call Amazon on the telephone who are concerned about my security while I have a direct order number? Shame on Amazon!! This could happen to anyone and yet Amazon does not want to take any responsibility for the error or the inconvenience.
i purchased a movie on preorder with price guarantee and amazon decided to cancel my order but they listed another similar for a higher price over 8 dollars more. i think they did not want to respect their price guarantee and find this way to not honor a sale and list it on another item number by claiming the item is no longer available which is not true. they even sent me a link about a replacement item but it is the exact same as they cancelled in my order but selling it for more. i cant understand how such a rich company can act this way and dont honor their own price guarantee by cancelling an item and relisting it. they might say oh no its not same we changed a few words in the description or item number is not same or such bs but it is the exact same movie and packaging like i had ordered with same picture of the item that they now sell for more than what i had paid and which they cancelled.
