I had to reject delivery today.

I had to reject delivery today.Two big guys turn up with my telly and wouldn't take it up just one flight of 12 steps of stairs.Told me if there is no lift then it is to me, in my case a single woman, to push it up.Argos guys just got on with the sofa yesterday, no issues.Is it because in flying text notifications from Currys I read 'your new Tech' in reference to delivery?Almost as if Currys are delivering a software package, where no physical effort assumed involved?Very dissapointing!

defect after one year, burden of proof on buyer

I bought a bicycle helmet at bol of almost 140 euros. After barely one year, the outer shell spontaneously fell off the helmet. I assumed that bol would respect the legal warranty period of two year and provide a solution for a product that should last several years of normal use. After all, I need the helmet daily for my commute. But no. They shield themselves with the fact that the burden of proof is on the buyer. How should I go about proving that the product was not assembled correctly. simple really what there are only two small caps of glue hanging from the shell, far too little so to hold a helmet together safely.So my experience is that to sell bol is good but the after sales service after more than one year is so nil. They immediately put the burden of proof on the buyer. So be warned! They respond with we will look in to it, but untill now 31/08 nothing received.

Unauthorised took money out & won't refund?!

We wanted to be on a free account. We accidentally set up a paid account. We contacted them for them to cancel it (as it was too hard to work out which account we wanted to keep and how to cancel the paid one). They said they would cancel it. Then when we were doing a cost review we found they had continued to charge us $250 without authorisation. When we asked for a refund, it took more than 15 emails asking for all this very specific information (which they already had) then finished by agreeing with us but they have a 'no refund after 30 days' policy so after all that no refund. So they admit to stealing our money unauthorised. Do not use them! Unethical!

TfL is Totally corrupted service by corrupt Mayer as he doing his advertisements (Mayor of London) and RMT on everywhere London.every stations staff always standing together keeping hand in pockets and doing gossip each other. Setting in box cabin and warming them ass and watching mobile, tablets.know one going to help people(most of visitors as they don’t know how to buy tickets )standing on ticket machines and creating long queues.if u call customer service then takes at list 40mins on the phone to caught one of person.if u get someone then they talking from home and saying by lollipop accuse, my system is down so call after some times because they want to do personal home work in house. Mince they doing nothing And saying we doing hard work.and this bastuds need more salary and doing strikes.even They don’t think about peoples who paying money for travel tickets and from that money they getting salaries. non of TfL staff have to pay for using tfl transport because they working in TfL so this people don’t need to worry about train delays or refunds. Not even TfL , all other sectors are going worse and worse day by day in UK. Now they started new dramatic trend in country, DO STRIKES one by one Underground trains, National Railway, buses,ambulance,nurses,Now school teachers

Ukrainian Refugees

Last month I contacted the NT suggesting, as a charity, it would be charitable to offer free entry to Ukrainian refugees visiting with members.I even said maybe just the gardens, as they may have a “healing” benefit.Despite receiving an email saying it had been passed on to the “specialist team” they are obviously so specialist that after almost two weeks and a follow up email they can’t make a decision.Mind you neither can the Home Office with their visa application process so why would I expect the NT to be any different.

Hard to understand the material presented...

I've used Cengage MindTap in a previous semester for a statistics course, and found it very easy to understand the material presented in the text book and assignment. I am currently using Cengage for a psychology course and my experience with Cengage is just the opposite as oppose to my previous experience. The textbook material is by far too long, causing it harder for me to get a grasp on the material. The sections are written in a very different way with lots of run-on sentences. The assignments are a bit hard to comprehend and does not present clear and concise questions. I'm fairly disappointed about this. You'd think that a fully virtual statistics class would be harder than a psychology class, but the way Cengage has set up this psy course is just the opposite. I'd hate to pay hundreds of dollars for a course that I need, to only find myself making a compliant like this a week into the semester.

Shambolic customer service. I sent in a letter 6 weeks ago (there is no facility to e-mail them) & haven't had a reply, so I just called them & it took them 28 minutes to confirm they had received my letter & then to be told even though they had already had the letter for 6 weeks they could not give me any indication when I would get a reply - Speechless!
