Trying to find Adobe reviews is all but impossible. These numerous bad reviews are well hidden by Adobe I expect. I was drawn into a free trial that never worked. I attempted immediatatly to cancel but could not. They continued to charge me monthly only because I could not cancel. I tried to contact them but good luck. You cannot contact them. I've learned today that there is a huge cancellation fee. These people are clearly crooks. Stay away for goodness sake.
I find it absolutely ridiculous that they find a way to word that you are paying monthly, then charge you a large fee when cancelling because you are paying a for a year term. This is so ridiculous. I will refuse to use adobe again. Extremely manipulative on their part.
All potential upsides are eclipsed by a fact that it's really hard and expensive to cancel subscription and it automatically rolls the renewal each year. So for a person with adhd like me it's a freaking death trap. Very unhappy 🙁
LOOK AT YOUR RATINGS! you are failing as a company. I dont know if ownership changed or what. I have used adobe for a long time and before, I was able to use it month to month and cancel it at anytime. I purchased a plan thinking I could use it for one month, but since its an annual plan i had to cancel within 14 days OR be charged 50% Of the annual amount. This is absurd and if its written in the fine print (intentionally to con customers), you should write it in LARGE BOLD PRINT WHEN SUBSCRIBING. I will be looking for a new company to use now. This is absolute fraud. And when I signed up for a plan a few months ago, they tacked on a hidden service I didn't even know I signed up for and I kept getting charged for it! Do better Adobe, its not right.
I am extremely satisfied with the product. To my knowledge, there are no other products on the market that can truly compete with Adobe's Creative Suite. Therefore, I am very disappointed with their unscrupulous business methods. I have been informed that the price of my subscription is increasing by 200%. This is utterly outrageous! I have been a customer for 13 years! When I contact customer service via the chat on their website, it feels akin to visiting a Middle Eastern market where haggling is expected. Your subscription price solely depends on how good a negotiator you are—not on your loyalty, the programs you subscribe to, or your payment history. Solely negotiation. This is in no way reassuring, and I feel mocked and grossly exploited. If there were an alternative to Adobe Creative Suite that was even remotely as good, I would have canceled my subscription.
The way you roll over 12 month contracts and then charge people to exit the contract is disgusting.Your products are good.Your standards of service are disgusting.Dont gaf if you claim it's in the fine print.Just because you write it somewhere doesn't mean it's any better practice.Will never use your products again, nor will friends or family.
Definitely not designed with the user in mind! I upgraded from the free version to edit some pdfs, and a job that should've taken 5 minutes lasted 2 hours!! Acrobat Pro for some reason needs to install extra functions, which failed multiple times, forcing me to reinstall it, only to then having Creative Cloud forced on me without even asking. Even downloading a single application from the website is a complete mess, having to log in and out repeatedly until it finally realizes that I am indeed already paying for the subscription, allowing me to download the apps. With a subscription as expensive as Adobe's, this is simply unacceptable. It should just WORK.
Awful company that takes payment every single month over YEARS and claim they send an 'email' every year to make you aware your agreeing to renew! Looked EVERYWHERE in my email for these emails over the years and found none! And then they want to charge to cancel!!!! 01/08/2024 - and now you’re focusing on how you inform customers about the cancellation fee, as if that’s the issue here. Where are the emails you said you sent me about renewing my subscription? You didn’t send any notifications to let me know about the automatic renewal, so you just took my money. Don’t pretend you’re doing me a favour by canceling the subscription without a fee, because you’re not.Terrible company.
