Another negative review here for you guys.Hopefully I can help someone with this.Just don’t use them, unless you are happy to pay for a cancellation fee. Very uncommon practice and my only experience where a B2C SAAS company has tried to charge for a monthly subscription cancellation. Honestly an awful feeling, and hope to never trade with Adobe again.
Do not sign up with Adobe, you will regret it. My experience has been so bad I'll soon be reporting them to the ICO for a GDPR breach over my payment details.I had a subscription, it was cancelled, at that point I was told by a representative I had no subscriptions active subscriptions, anything on the account.3 months later I realised they'd been charging me mistakenly. I got refunded, I asked them to delete my payment details and not charge me again.2 months after that I realised they were still charging me. I got a refund, I again asked them to delete my details.3 months later they are still charging me. I have spoken to agents 4-5 times, I was promised callbacks that never came, I'm never rude, yet they end the conversations randomly and claim they can't find the payments, I've sent them screenshots of my bank statements to prove the payments. They also keep asking me for the first 6-8 numbers of my card and the last 4, basically the whole card number, I don't even still have the card.
I would give - Stars if I could. Wish I had checked their reviews on here seeing they have 1 stars accross the board first but with a big company like Adobe you don't expect such awful business practices.I took up the free trial being offered to try it having only ever used Canva. I downloaded the software but found that I could not use it - it was far to complicated to me. I (The same day as ai took the trial) cancelled. 3 Weeks later, they took a payment of £10. Somewhat annoyed I logged back into the account and tried to cancel AGAIN to be told that I was now committed to a year with them and if I wanted to Cancel they would charge me £100!!!! Fuming!!
Scamming company. A subscription based service that does not allow you to cancel without charging over £100. This should be illegal. I do not want the product. Let me out. I cannot afford food!! I need to cancel and if I can't afford £20 a month then I can't afford £120 just to cancel?????
Trying to cancel annual subscription is impossible. I have 2 accounts (1 personal, the other business). So, wanted to close one, it just wont let me get rid of the annual subscription even though with their annual "30Day" renewal cencellation window. These guys are corporate bullies and the company deserves to crash. Their support is disgusting, forced to login to chat for help. As soon as you say you want to cancel, they splash up a technical issues message and say come back after 2-4 hours. Note, ask for help buying stuff and amazingly the technical issues aren't there. My suggestion, DO NOT set up an account with them at all, unprofessional support, do not listen to customers, have no care about the distress they cause or have issue with taking money by stopping account and subscription cancellations. The response below is a joke. Having repeatedly followed that process and attempted to get support on their customer chat several times... I am still stuck with a monthly subscription I can't cancel. There is no cancel button, you are forced to select at least one subscription. Contact chat, they copy paste the same "We are having technical issues, try again in 2 to 4 hours" message. This is corporate theft on a massive scale. Instead on responding with nonsense, deal with the problem, your customers have been complaining about this for years.
Charging a cancellation fee in 2024, abusing monopoly status, when your "discounted" yearly plan goes up in price they dont even send you an email.Never will I ever use any Adobe product again. Hope they get thrashed by competition.
