I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience with Gumroad. My account has been suspended for weeks, and despite sending multiple emails (at least five) regarding accessing my funds, disconnecting my Discord account, and canceling subscriptions, I have received no response.To make matters worse, Gumroad’s website indicated all week that I was scheduled to receive a payment. However, on the day of payment, the status abruptly changed to “payment skipped” due to the account suspension, leaving me with no access to the funds I rightfully earned.As a platform, Gumroad’s lack of communication and transparency with its users is unacceptable. I expected better support for creators who rely on their services. Until these issues are resolved, I cannot recommend Gumroad to anyone.
I ordered from this company. I never received an invoice or an email concerning my order. There's no contact information and when I emailed Gumroad support, I never received a reply. Scam of a business!! If I could give less than 1 star, I would!
I have an issue with a seller on Gumroad and asked for a refund from the seller. Gumroad informed me that this is the procedure and should the seller not respond within 30 days I should then let them know and they would make sure I receive the refund. I have followed this procedure and informed Gumroad a week ago and again 3 days ago. They are now not responding. Will never purchase off their platform again. Its disgracefu!!28/10/2024 Update. Despite further emails sent to this company I am yet to receive a response from them. I have just sent another. 05/11/2024 Update. Further emails sent. No response or acknowledgement received. Customer care non-existent.13/11/2024 Update. Despite almost daily emails to them I have still received no response/acknowledgment from them. It seems they are in a hurry to take money but ignorant and selfish when it comes to refunds. I wonder how much correspondence I would be receiving if I owed them money?!! Scammers!!21/11/2024 Update. Same as my previous update/s. Avoid this company, especially if you need customer care support!26/11/2024 Update. Still no response despite sending further emails. If you think you may need there customer support then avoid at all costs. They are active because they did originally respond to me but now that I have followed whatever procedure they required and owe me a refund there is no response.03/12/2024 Update. Still no response from these people. Absolutely no business ethics from what is supposed to be their "support" facility. Avoid at all costs if there is a chance you may need their assistance. Eventually people won't purchase from the sellers that use their platform.....
I reached out to support to request a second chance to reactivate my Gumroad account. Unfortunately, their response was not as courteous as I had hoped. They indicated that they would not be providing another opportunity, stating, "We cannot grant a second chance as it appears you will no longer be using your account."
Never ever heard of them until they tried to defraud my credit card, but lucky for me my bank notified me and did not process the transaction.Needless to say, I had to cancel my card as scammers like them will continue to try and push through their fraudulent request.
