I spent over 7 hours trying to publish a simple digital product on Gumroad using an iPad. The user interface constantly looped me back to “Welcome Aboard” screens with no way to access my product dashboard, even after uploading files and confirming my email. I tried two different email accounts and reset my password multiple times — nothing worked.I contacted support but never received a reply. For a platform that’s supposed to support creators, this was incredibly frustrating and completely unprofessional. I finally gave up and moved to another platform, where I had my product live and selling within the hour.Gumroad might work fine for some users, but if you’re on mobile, or need even minimal support, look elsewhere.I COMPLAINED AND received no reply
Gumroad has postponed my payouts three times now for no reason. I’ve sent them countless messages and they just keep ignoring me. I’m not gonna let this slide. Honestly, if you’re thinking of using their platform, stay away. Avoid them like the plague.

Fraudulent dealings!!!I have a product listed for £200. A customer purchased it for £240. I received £170.I was not told how much the customer paid, we just so happened to discuss it.So, even when they do tell you of fees, they are not telling you 50% of the fees they are taking.My invoice says he customer paid £200, and the fees were £30.30% fees taken!
Bait and switch operation with glitchy technology.They invite creators to join their site - even adult content creators are invited. Then, after you've made a few sales, they abruptly ban you from their platform.Customers frequently have trouble making purchases from their site. It's all a trainwreck, really. Thank goodness there are better platforms out there for selling content.
I am a digital product seller and I sell items with full resale rights (PLR/MRR). Gumroad suddenly suspended my account without sending me any email or warning. I had over $250 in my balance, and until now I haven’t received my payout.I sent more than 10 emails to their support team but received no reply at all. This is unacceptable and very unprofessional.I’ve invested money in paid ads and spent a lot of time building my store and promoting my products, and now everything is gone with no explanation and no support.I am simply asking Gumroad to send me my money. I don’t understand how a platform can block a user and keep their earnings without communication.Please resolve this issue and send me my pending funds.
Purchased a book from Depths manifestation.gumroad.com. Had no idea about the company needless to say my book has not arrived.I have emailed 3 times with no response. Mid April was my purchase....I'm guessing it won't arrive... never use this rip off company
Gumroad suddenly suspended my account without any valid explanation, despite me following all guidelines. I spent months building back-links and driving traffic from my website to my Gumroad store — all wasted. Their only response was a vague message blaming “banking partners” and suggesting I “look into an alternate marketplace.” Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to creators. If you value your time and work, I strongly recommend staying away from Gumroad.
I NEVER subscribed to ANY of their advertisers... AND I get buried in their spammy emails. I tried to unsubscribe, but they keep dropping my into MORE advertisers that I DID NOT suscribe to.I emailed support at Gumroad, but kept etting the run around by their AI bot.THis company should be fined big time for their spammy invasive and unethical practices!!!
