Bitdefender Customer Service

Bitdefender customer service sorted out an issue with my subscription renewal. Within less than 30 minutes they had the problem solved and I was able to return to my PC usage.

Log in problems.

When I had to replace my computer, old one suddenly broke, I could not use my old email address. This proved a problem with trying to log in to Bitdefender to upload their security to my new computer. When I emailed them with my new email address the quickly and simply, for me, resolved my problem.

Utterly abysmal support

Installation failed. Scan deleted many files but no logs or even details of what files were deleted, or why. Support did not even know where log files were stored (gave wrong folder path). Multiple useless responses from utterly worthless and ignorant support staff over four weeks. Final solution: none. Workaround: boot in Safe mode and find the logs manually - WTF!!!!!Even without the lost files and the dysfunctional software, the utterly abysmal support is reason alone never to risk doing any business with this truly awful company.PS:To: BitDefender Re: Your reply1. You already know about all of this, which is why I wrote this review.2. You clearly have NO COMPETENT STAFF and so "adequate support" is clearly impossible.3. You have had over a month to deal with this and FAILED MISERABLY at every possible opportunity. 4. If you think I would trust you now, as you scrabble to defend against an honest an accurate review, you must think I am stupid!

Pack of thieves

Pack of thieves. They take money off your credit card even when you have cancelled auto-renewal.The support services either don't work or are non existent. Buyer beware, do not let them get your credit card details.

Florin: The BD Staff has exemplary knowledge of your products. Only a couple of times did it take more than 1 call to get my issue resolved. I've been using BD now for approximately 20 years. I feel, my knowledge grew along with you new software development solutions. I mentor my wife when she has BD operational questions for her Android and her Windows OS,s. She trusts it and loves it!!! It takes care of both of our needs.
