Add back in the ability to change auto renew status on their own website. It is 100% predatory to not allow your customers to manage their auto renew on your website. They will reply to this with a link to a website that does not work. The options under subscriptions are not available anymore because they have changed the website. This is completely not okay. Someone who is not computer savvy will end up paying for this for the rest of their life and even after they are dead the way this is setup. Completely unacceptable. It needs to be changed or I feel, that not matter how good Bitdefender antivirus is, it is a predatory group out there who is going to take your money whether you are using their services or not. This is paramount to stealing and they should be sued over it.
I have requested numerous times to have a customer care professional call me on the phone so that they can look my computer over and help me set up the firewall. Nobody calls. The only way they will communicate is through email, and the instructions are very difficult for me. I need someone thats very knowledgeable to guide me step by step while I talk to them. Is that too much to as after paying for the Total service? I followed the email instructions and received an email back stating for me to do the same thing. I want to talk to a human being. They ask for screen shots of whats going on. Can they not access my computer and see why certain processes are taking up all my memory? Can they tell me why the default firewall rules are to allow unrestricted access for all protocols inbound and out? No, they expect me to communicate slowly through emails that take a day to get etc. I need my computer fixed now in real time. If you are not savvy with computers don't buy this security. I may change my mind if they are willing to walk me through setting up firewall after I had a trojan horse. I believe someone has unfettered access to my computer because the default rules changed and I keep getting notifications that say a program has changed and is attempting to access the internet. Changed? What? Confused and upset. (This is my wife's computer gifted to her by her Dad and she is mad at me for getting a virus that bitdefender said it could not completely remove after I talked her into removing McAfee and buying bitdefender because it was supposedly better )
Bitdefender makes it impossible to cancel your subscription. They will not let you turn off the automatic payments. They are as bad as the viruses you pay them to protect against. I followed the directions listed below, and still was unable to cancel the subscription. This company will not let you cancel your subscription. I will be reporting these unethical businesses practices.

Before I even reached out, Bitdefender was already ahead of me. They took immediate action and fixed the issue without me even having to chase them down.
