Review Time
I have always rated Bitdefender higher than the other similar products that I have tried, and when it took me most of the morning, it was time well spent. And all the ladies from Bitdefender who I spoke to on the telephone were so helpful and kind. And patient with me!
Their product is surely great. But what makes of a great product an excellent one is the quality of customer service, and based on my experience their capacity to handle the requests fast and to a full satisfaction is amazing.
Supposedly a great product based on reviews. I have nothing in my experience to prove it technical aspects are bad. This is from a general user perspective:1. Dashboard is somewhere between poor and awful. 2. Updates with Windows 11 IS awful. Same issue OVER AND OVER again for what must be year. You get a notification from Windows that BitDefender Virus & Threat protection needs action. Open BitDefender and have a difficult time figuring out what is wrong since the "Dashboard" doesn't flag anything. It's usually the same issue that you find eventually under "Notifications". A great "Dashboard" would have flagged that right off the bat.
Bitdefender has a great platform to help protect all your devices. With the family plan, I can help my family be safe from cyber risks. The Bitdefender platform is not as heavy as other antivirus programs I have had. Also, I had an issue with my account showing as a trial that had expired, and the Bitdefender support team helped me resolve very quickly (I had entered the wrong email address in once of the instances, which is why it was showing as a trial and not the paid subscription)
