Review Time
I did a eurity scan as I do about every six weeks. Aftr about 20 hours I WAS INFORMED THAT i WAS SFE. I switched off and went to bed. When I started up this morning my screen was immediatly flooded with notices that ny system was damaged, tha my McAfee esubscription whad expired, th I was under malwarw attack and so forth. I am unable to get rid of thes.wht must i do???????
Bifdender was very patient in handling my issue and I greatly appreciated that. A lot was going on that day and their customer service guided me along to resolve my issue, plus I was able to upload screenshots to the Bitdefender chat, so they saw what I saw, GAME CHANGER!
Bitdefender came up as one of the highest best buys of 2025 in the June 2025 Which Magazine. They offer a great free basic version (best buy) and several paid options so something for everyone. In addition they have a website full of information and for those who struggle navigating websites a great AI and human chat facility with a knowledgeable and helpful support team

I simply can not say enough BAD THINGS about BITDEFENDER ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE and their 200% dreadful support services which are non existent. They are so bad, so terrible that they would be a joke if Anti Virus wasn't such an important matter. I recommend you do NOT buy this product
I just completed one year using Bitdefender along with its VPN and another add on program for safe on line transmissions and protection from invasion. Each time I've called with a question, or seeking assistance (I'm 84 and not very computer smart) the technicians I've spoken with at Bitdefender have gone out of their way to assist me, answering and guiding me through any needed fixes, updates, or reinstalls. Really great service
They trap you into an auto renew by not showing the option to cancel when you log into your central account. I had to go to customer service to ask them to do it and they didn't offer an explanation as to why they don't make it possible to cancel in the settings
