Google disconnected my account and also disabled access to my Nest thermostat. I had no trouble from my thermostat until Google took it over. I am unable to boost my heating or water at all. I am going to buy an old fashioned thermostat which suits my needs.
Review of hootsuite
Signed up for a free 60-day plan yesterday. Woke up to a $400 invoice this morning. Raised the issue with billing team expecting it to be a quick resolution But they want screenshots to confirm I was on a free plan to reverse charges. I didn't realise hootsuite was such a scam site that you needed to take screenshots at each stage of the signup process. What a complete scam, do not give hootsuite your card number!!!Update: I have contacted Hootsuite several times and currently have a case pending. The issue has been manage poorly, with very limited interest or motivation to solve the problem!

Muddy Paws in Dobbies Barlborough. Recently taken our new pup to these guys and were welcomed by a lovely young lady called Savanna. She listened to how we wanted our pooch clipping and then explained what services they provide and the pricing structure. We felt very confident leaving her in Savannas hands and we were not disappointed when we got the call to collect her. She looked amazing, her coat was clipped perfectly into the style we imagined. The service and friendly welcome for both humans and pets is second to none and I wholeheartedly recommend this grooming parlour. Thank you Savanna for a First rate job. Xx

Oh dear what a disaster. I was due to attend a 1.30pm appointment Thursday 13 October at the dental clinic in Guy’s Hospital. This required a tube journey to London Bridge and my first time accessing the tube as a wheelchair user. When using the journey planner I could not grasp, to be what I consider a very confusing set of symbols supposedly designed to make your journey by wheelchair as smooth as possible. On entering my trip details in I’m provided with a very simple 34 minute ride using Hammersmith and City Line then transferring to the Jubilee line at Baker Street. By bus it’s a 4 bus journey taking 1hour 10 minutes. This is where I made one of two mistakes. I was always journey planning as a mobile user not in need of step free wheelchair accessibility. The first box you see under cycling and other options includes a full step free access symbol which completely went over my head. The next boxes were the tube journey offered, impossible in the wheelchair then the 4 bus trip which was impractical. I began a Google search on how to access the Jubilee line by lift but was finding this difficult. I downloaded a pdf Avoiding Stairs Tube Guide. This was a jumble of confusing symbols. My second mistake was not going by taxi but I wasn’t sure I was mobile or strong enough to enter and exit the cab. Finally the day before travel and exhausting all attempts to find a solution I called TFL. The advisor gave me instructions to enter at Paddington Elizabeth line and take the tunnel to connect via lift to the Bakerloo line, exiting at Waterloo then using the lift to join the Jubilee line. Arriving at Waterloo the gap was too wide to allow the wheelchair off so we traveled the two stops to Elephant and Castle. A supervisor attempted to get Waterloo to have someone on the platform to provide assistance but they didn’t appear to be cooperative. Finally just before our tube departed the supervisor advised that there wasn’t lift access to the Jubilee line at Waterloo. The only solution was to return to Paddington, missing my dental hospital appointment. In order to find out and to see what another advisor would suggest I just called the TFL number. It’s not a pleasant experience. Not only do they suggest that you avoid using public transport, rather walk or cycle to free up the space for those who really need it but you should only press star to speak to someone if you are disabled otherwise use the automated service. We have an NHS service that we are supposed to protect by not using it and a public transport system we shouldn’t use either. This is really clown town London 2022. Kevin the advisor I just spoke to (Friday 14 October) was polite but seemed to be finishing a meal or taking dishes to the sink. When I asked if he would kindly enter my journey to see what his best option would be he said NO and apologised as the system was down. It isn’t down on my I Pad. In future I will avoid using the tube as a disabled passenger. Maybe in time and with practice it would become easier to navigate but this experience has left me disappointed and dissatisfied. UPDATE 20 OCTOBER 2022. My journey to the dental hospital should have been a breeze. It’s my fault for not using the step free symbol to plan my trip. Had I done so taking the Elizabeth Line from Paddington to Farringdon, then transferring to Thames Link for London Bridge. Why oh why did the TFL advisor not use it instead of giving me the wrong information. Why didn’t she recommended this for future trips. Instead she said grab a leaflet which will give you the information you need. As I’ve already explained the symbols are impossible to understand. I now have to wait over a month for another dental appointment.
Review of symantec
Symantec thinks it is OK to debit people's checking or savings account without authorization. When you attempt to contact them they have a way to state their queue is full and place you on a multi hour hold. I will never use this product again and would caution anybody who is thinking of doing so. Since when does ANY Company get to do an auto renewal a month prior to a subscription termination date without any notification or authorization. OH, OH, I forgot, Silicon Valley millionaires answer to nobody.

Review of parallels
I've choosen Parallels as it's the only option nowadays for running Windows on new Mac M1 processors. Though it must be evaluation copy of new Windows ARM version (which can be virtualized), it's running smoothly without any problems with all standard windows applications I use for SQL development (my work). And plus great Parallels Toolbox - many very useful utilities which can replace a lot of special Mac handy utilities I used before. I really recommend Parallels!

Kroger is making a lot of money off the most helpless people. Kroger will gladly sell you a Money Order for $600.cash in one town, then refuse to cash it at a Kroger in the next town. Wal Mart won't take Krogers' W.U. Money Orders either. Unless you have a bank willing to cash it, you're stuck with a Bad Check. Face it, very few people who need an emergency Money Order have a bank account. If there was time or you have an account with a bank, you would use a bank check in the first place. If you send money to the homeless relative who needs food now, or emergency car tow/repair, stranded and need a bus ticket, or like situation: DO NOT USE KROGER MONEY ORDERS! KROGER THEMSELVES WILL NOT CASH THEM! (btw- our credit was "fair to good" all the time, which shouldn't matter as we bought their check with our cash. Kroger credit may be in the ditch.I know it is with me.) What happened to me is emergency $ for Derby Party/bills from my brother, got here in time in Sat. mail, then Kroger here turns us away and I couldn't cash it til the next Monday at the bank (luckily). Then, if it comes back bad again, it's all on the person cashing it to pay back the $600. to the bank and Kroger keeps the CASH you bought the bad M.O. with. We would be out $1200. if the bank came back on us, all just so Kroger can keep the $600. Thank God the bank cashed it for me just because people there know my husband from school days. They know he would make good on it if it bounced. ~ NICE RACKET KROGER! BUT YOU CAN'T GET AWAY WITH IT FOREVER. My brother who was so kind to send me the $600. in the first place says he feels like a dumb-A for buying a check with cash just anywhere, in the first place, and he will trust no one less than the US Postal Service if he ever has to do that again. I'm left angry, embarrassed and with kids looking at me about the party foods I was supposed to come home with that day, for the Derby. I have late bills now. I'll bet my credit is not so good anymore. Then, I had to sweat for days over whether or not the bank was gonna come back on me if the check is still bad when they try to put it thru. So far so good on that. It should be so easy to check that the MO we're trying to cash was sold when and where and for the amount it says it was with a simple call to the other Kroger that sold it. But they refuse to help. The manager in our town is stuck like a broken record on diverting blame to this other company who need not even be involved for any reason. I consider it Krogers' responsibility when their own shel..I mean side co. says their Money Order is bad. It may not be illegal to sell bad paper the way Kroger spins it, but it certainly is criminal behavior on their part and says a lot about Co. character in general ~ KROGER! DON'T SELL CHECKS THAT YOU WILL NOT CASH!

I understand that this is a difficult situation for everyone and pick up or delivery of groceries is a viable option to support social distancing but only if you can actually pull it off! We ordered $200 worth of groceries last week with the soonest delivery date 5 days out, the time for the delivery kept changing and then they just canceled the order entirely. After waiting on hold for 25 minutes this morning Customer service couldn't provide any answers as to why it was canceled and suggested I try again. The best part is that I now have to wit for 3 days for the money to be refunded to my card before I can buy food. Great idea but you clearly can't pull it off very disappointing
