Review Time
Amazon is the first place I go now for most expensive purchases. I want to know what the "Standard" pricing is.Most often, Amazon has the best price, shipped for free (with Prime) and the shipping time is unmatched in Canada. The issues I have is with re-sellers and scalpers being supported by the site. I believe Amazon needs to set some standards. Using the current GPU shortage is easy, but this isn't a new issue. I would like to see options to remove 3rd party scammers from my Amazon searches. Aside from that, its one of the best!
Amazon should stand by their customers when they call you regarding a non delivered item. twice this month, an item was supposed to be delivered by amazon never made it and kept saying sorry delayed and finally someone said item is lost but only after 4 calls.Second delivery was by one of their contractors intelcom which lied about the delivery and amazon basically told me, we apologize.
Having mistakenly returned a parcel to its origin and not Amazon was a big mistake. Tried contacting customer support for help is a waste of time....every reply back was the same....do they read it off a card??? Wouldn't look into it....too busy counting their cash!!! Thanks for nothing
I recently ordered a mattress through Amazon Prime. Delivery estimate was 1-2 days, which was important for me because I have started paying rent on a new apartment and I need the mattress to move in. It is now 11 days later and the mattress still hasn't arrived. No surprise when I find out this delivery was given to Purolator, the worst delivery company on the planet. Of course I would never use Purolator for anything, but the problem with Prime is that you cannot choose the carrier. I contacted Purolator and they said to expect the delivery by February 15 - they have said that, for them, this is normal ETA for a delivery like this. I ordered this package on Jan 28. It's being delivered from Woodbridge to downtown Toronto - a 35 minute drive. It's going to take Purolator EIGHTEEN days, costing me rent the whole time. I would never have ordered it if I knew it was going to take this long. I pay for Prime specifically for quick delivery, this level of service is unacceptable.
Amazon canada has the worst delivery service. I have experienced many times that they already accessed the building yet they still ask me to go downstairs and pick up the item? When I already gave them an access to the building and elevator! Today, he got an access to the building while I am away and called me again saying if I can go downstairs to pick up item!! This is really frustrating!
