Alienware Aurora R16 Dell's flagship computer! Right out of the box didn't work properly! It was laggy, and slow to load. In fact it was slower than the Dell I was replacing. Several wasted hours on the phone with tech support and the lag issue was resolved; only for the screen to then start to randomly black out for a few seconds when gaming.I'm not a computer expert. I just want to buy a computer for gaming or business and for it to do it's job. That said right there on the Dell support page I find the Intel I7 chip set that came with my machine has instability issues... Why would Dell sell something they know is, or even believe may have issues?I asked about trading my system in for one with a an I9 chip set. The price between Aurora R16 with the I7 vs the 19 chip set was huge. I paid $1599.99 for the I7. The Aurora R16 with the exact same configuration as the I7 I purchased (configuration below) was $3199.99. $1600 DIFFERENCE!!!Intel® Core™ i7 14700FWindows 11 HomeNVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 406032 GB DDR52 TB SSDI returned my system. My wife and I have purchased maybe 10 computers from Dell over the last 9 years between our home and business. We thought they were a reputable company, they are not. They have lost two customers!We purchased a more powerful system than their Alienware Aurora R16 flagship computer for $1396.72 less! A system without the Dell Bloatware! If you are in the market for a new computer, the last place I would buy one would be Dell!
I thought it could not get any worse dealing with Dell computer repair service but it just did. Everyday I get a notice that they will be out to repair my computer so I wait at home for them to show but no one shows because they are waiting on a part from Houston that they ordered some 8 days ago. Someone needs to contact Amazon and find out how to run a business.Today I receive a notice from service advising me that my work order has been completed by the service technican that was at my home. News to me as I am still waiting. No one has come to my home. Incompetence still prevails at Dell
If I could award negative stars I would. I purchased a battery on the Dell.com website and naturally it is the wrong battery. Sent it back the same day. They have had my battery since Dec 2 and still have no refunded my money. I have spoken to 4 different people at their outsourced CS dept, who tell me it takes up to 12 business days for a credit...It has been 23. I will NEVER buy anything from this company again. Sent an email to Michael Dell, this company s a joke.

Never buy any gaming headset from dell they are pure scam and trash device. They dont accept review on their website because they would have too many bad stars.Changed the device twice already and still having major issue for a $200 gaming headsetHorrible customer service just wasted 47 minutes and had to argue to get a call back from supervisor.Last product I buy from them
Ordered a Playstation 5 and extra controller from their website which showed in stock at the time of order, November. A week later I received the controller and an email saying the console was delayed. A month goes by and several delays later - I'm over it. I request the console to be cancelled and the controller returned (what am I going to do with a lone controller?). This was done through chat since I couldn't request a cancellation and return online. 24 hours after the chat request I'm now calling customer service to request the cancellation again. No one has a clue on what to actually do. Don't buy from this trash company. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
Over the years I have purchased many Dell Towers and Laptops for myself and friends which I set up and install programmes for and have found them to be quite good and aftersales helpfull. Over the last few years when contacting Dell for technical support I have seen a decline in the helpsupport, for example, I contacted Dell support about 6 months ago with a tech. issue on my Dell XPS. After giving details to the advisor of the laptop and issue only to be told that I needed to get a new computer as mine was 3 years old and outdated. I also contacted them on an issue with a laptop I had purchased for my friend. That attempt was also unsuccessfull so now I have lost all faith in Dell and will most probably if friends approach me for computers again will turn to Lenovo for my needs. After years of loyal support to Dell I am bitterly disappointed.
Customer Service is awful.I just wanted to update the BIOS/ UEFI. Which should be a free downloadable file. The idiot Indian I got on the line wanted to sell me a yearly maintenance package and he wanted access to my computer! I said, Hell No!Long story short, I figured it out myself and it didn't cost me anything.
As far as I am concerned Costco bites BIG TIME!!! My son in law purchased a computer for me last Christmas and it is having major issues. I have a contract for repairs from my Dell computer before. I called Dell & gave them the tag # from this computer. I was informed by Dell this is a 10 yr. old computer & they do NOT work on 10 yr old computers. No wonder why the dam computer is crashing!!!! On the sales receipt it does NOT indicate it is a refurbished computer. So, my son in law out the $$$$ & I am stuck w/ an OLD Malfunctioning computer!!!!Dell & Costco notified & neither one has contacted me to make this horror right by offering a replacement.
3mos old laptop starts glitches bad, dell, after painstaking list of requirements finally sends a tech which is new and is tild to replace motherboard. And leaves. Within days, starts glitches bad again , and dell tells me there's nothing more they can do, so I had to wait months for the extended warranty to kick in to get help. Sent it in contemplate so far it's ok.dont buy a dell pj's are chea and the service is worst!
