Review Time
I downloaded the Calm app yesterday to try the free trial for a week. I had to put my card details in and then verify through apple pay finger print afterwards. Today I received a phone call from my bank saying that my card had been used in America for £77. Thankfully the payment was declined and my card has now been blocked, but I am convinced that this fraud is related to the American app, Calm. I will never be giving out my bank details so freely ever again.
Terrible experience! 7 day trial is misleading they charge you if you cancel or not. READ the very fine print.Also after charging me $69It has been unavailable. So in other words out of commission, so I paid for something that is not available for me to use. TOTAL ripoff and so disappointed and dissatisfied. STAY AWAY
This company is a scam and is hurting for money. I never had an auto renewal through Apple's APP Store, as I cancelled after receving the first years price. I sent a screenshot of my auto renewals to Calm proving I didn't have an auto Renewal, only to find they hit me twice for $59.99 on the same day 07/06/2020!!!
Absolutely terrible company to work with, especially within their corporate side of the business. We are a corporate business based in Manchester who enquired about purchasing 41 licences for our staff after seeing on media sites during Mental Health Week that the app priced at £26.99. Once connected with a representative from CALM we found out that this wasn't correct. Overall the communication from that representative was appalling. We received two pieces of misinformation - firstly that the subscription could be revoked and secondly that the pricing was $59 when in fact it was $59.50. This was all documented on email and forwarded to CALM and we have been given no resolution other than an apology for misinformation. Please do thorough research before signing up to anything. Customer service has been absolutely appealing from the beginning. Would not recommend this company to anyone.
Liked it to start with but then they got involved in most recent political views... Sending me an email about black lives matter What the hell... Calm this is NOT a platform for political or any other views... Stick to making calming music
I am finding this app very helpful, though slightly concerned about all the negative reviews! I don’t feel ripped off, but then I didn’t want to cancel after my free trail. No ads so far, it is on my phone so maybe different on a tablet? I am very positive about Calm, some of the stories are irritating but generally I think it’s good value for money, has lots of content that can be tailored to your requirements. I am in the UK and have basic membership. Thanks Calm, I think you’re great 👍
This app is amazing. Some people say it can’t believe you spend money every month on a calm app’ I say ‘how can be investing in yourself have a price on it! It is worth every penny. The masterclasses are incredible and totally changed my life. Tara is amazing and has such a wonderful way of bringing me back to Earth when it all gets too much. Thank you Tara for teaching me the miracle of being grateful. The happiness class is also great, and the power of rest. Thank you to all the creators of calm for putting this together. It has transformed my life and there is never a day I don’t use it.
