I have ot experienced any of the negative comments (yet perhaps). I think it has improved over what people are saying I think it is reasonabley priced with celebrities reading 'sleep stories', which has greatly improved my sleep. I think that it can soon get boring due to limited amount of content. The daily meditation woman is annoying and shame its always her. Overall a decent product thats helped me sleep.
This is what I wrote to Calm.I am, as I am sure you know, very upset with you people. I am an 80 year old man. I have been going through considerable stress with my wife being ill with cancer. My Daughter said she was trying Calm. I went onto your site and looked at it, found I was on a trial. I decided not to involve myself with it.I then received an email telling me I would be charged. I tried for an hour to cancel. I asked my Daughter to help. To no avail. It is not possible to cancel. Today you have charged me £ 28.99 I have asked my Daughter to help me with getting my money back. I cannot afford to pay and don't want it anyway. I signed up last year as it looked good. It wasn't for me and stopped using it months ago.I was surprised that I had signed up for automatic renewal, as I don't remember doing it. Now waiting for a refund. Their online help was useless as they didn't recognise my email. Strange as they emailed me to say they were taking my money. Emailed for refund and they are not responding. Cancelled my subscription online so won't get robbed again.They have ignored my request for a refund, BUT responded to say they are sad to see I have cancelled online. I'm sure they will miss the money they got from me by dubious means.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. I got the distinct impression that I was merely testing it for a day or two for free, then bam, somehow I have a one-year renewable subscription that CAN:T BE CANCELED. Highway robbery. And a boring, useless app that sounds like cheap massage parlor music. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
Randomly had to set up an account again even though I had one, right when I needed to actually be calm. Super not okay, lots of annoying demographic questions as well as requests to access my accounts. Will tell my partner to leave this program, I can listen to rain on YouTube without paying and without the crap corporate nonsense - and that's saying a lot
