Review Time
I thought i was subscribing to calm radio... But this another company. The people a calm radio was great help... BUT after paying and money came out of account and can not get into my account at all. I can not get intouch with them anyway... No phone... Email. No way to contact to get in the account... To cancel... Nothing... I just want to at least get what i paid for. Can anyone help????
Total scam! The subscription letter, says that it is easy to cancel. A lie! A techie friend and I spent 3 hours and we could not figure out how to reverse the yearly subscription. I ended up going directly to their web site and sent an e-mail. If that does not work, then I will cancel the transaction through my credit card and block the vender.
Awful app! So expensive, and there is only one voice giving meditation lessons, it’s an incredibly annoying voice that grated me. I realized immediately that there were no other options - only this one voice to listen to! I immediately contacted them, within 24hrs of purchasing, and requested a refund. One month later I have still not heard a word back from them. Shocking. Don’t waste your money.
Don’t use the trial period . This is almost impossible to cancel and I tried for three days! Can’t contact anyone either. I used the app about 4 times in the thirty day trial and decided it wasn’t for me but I now have an annual subscription for which I was charged $69 - I live in the UK. To add insult to injury they emailed me during the trial period offering me 30% off and I ignored it because I didn’t want the subscription! If I had, I would hardly have gone for the more expensive option ! They deliberately hide info about how to cancel. Awful experience
I just downloaded Calm and it was terrible. Every few seconds and I do mean seconds, very loud and intrusive ads would pop up that bordered on the obscene. One titled " Tat EM Up" and the other "Shave Em" which showed cartoon figures shaving pubic hair! Gross! It's a joke. I would advise that if you are seeking "calm" at this time, look to another app. Waste of time
The breathing exercises and sleep sounds on the free version of the app have been helpful, to be fair, but they put a lot of pressure on you to subscribe, and they are very coy about how much a subscription costs. After a protracted email correspondence (what part of "how much does it cost" don't they understand?) I finally got a price out of them - in US dollars. I'm in the UK.Haven't tried the meditations yet, but if they involve the same corporate bs language as the emails I don't think I'll bother. Update: while optimising my phone I noticed that this app takes up a much heftier chunk of storage space than most. Considering most of the content can't be accessed without forking out an unspecified subscription, it's a waste of space. Uninstalling.
Being maried to the frauds thatmade this site, can make churches lie, deceive and ridicule whilst a wife would steal your children and deliberately try to get you to die, and Christian preachers that would try to get you to abort your children. They are all vile. Calm is a fake site by non care people only interested in exploiting the weak. Be safe, real help will arrive, the site is a joke, stay clear.
